  • A night out to relax

by Carl on 8/27/25Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Have known about Del and his music for sometime but haven’t seen him live yet. Watched him briefly on a video to get an idea of what to hear from the band. Really knew they were a good band but theirs nothing like seeing them live the mix of instruments with bluegrass sound was just a blast start to finish looking forward to seeing them perform live again. Thanks Del!

Don’t be fooled by the old man’s age. He’s still got it!

Del is a living legend. He keeps getting better with age. As long as he tours, I will be there to be entertained.

  • Del is a legend!

by Del Mccoury Band on 9/24/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 5 out of 5

Our favorite bluegrass vocalist and entertainer! No two shows are ever the same. Great high-lonesome harmonies, barn-burning instrumentals, and my personal favorite— Jason Carter’s smokin’ hot fiddle shredding. Can’t wait to see them again.

  • The band was great

by MMLI on 9/23/24The Capitol Theatre - Port ChesterRating: 3 out of 5

The artist (Del McCoury band) was great as usual. The theater selling 20oz beers all night was a drag. I was in the fourth row, and had to deal with 3 different drunken dudes creating a scene/ruckus. One guy was passed out next to my wife, and needed paramedics. One guy kept yelling from his front row seat, spilled his beer on the floor and then walked up to the center of the stage to make requests, before security sat him down. I have nothing against alcohol, but it was a freaking free for all and diminished the experience considerably. If ppl have no self control, the theater has to do better with serving. 🤷🏻‍♂️🙄

How often does a Member of the Opry come to Port Chester ? The number of empty seats was inexcusable. Do better New York.
