Come From Away on Tour
The true story of the small town that welcomed the world.
Broadway's COME FROM AWAY has won Best Musical all across North America!
The New York Times Critics' Pick takes you into the heart of the remarkable true story of 7,000 stranded passengers and the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed them. Cultures clashed and nerves ran high, but uneasiness turned into trust, music soared into the night, and gratitude grew into enduring friendships.
Don't miss this breathtaking new musical written by Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, and helmed by this year's Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. Newsweek cheers, "It takes you to a place you never want to leave!"
On 9/11, the world stopped. On 9/12, their stories moved us all.
Wonderful cast, and a very enjoyable performance. It showed that there was good that came out of a horrible piece of history.
Everthing about this musical was amazing. The cast, their energy, especially since they are on stage continuously for the full 2 hours, no intermission. The music was wonderful! The storyline was wonderful. I cried, i luaghed, I cried and laughed. LOVED it!!!
This was my second time seeing "Come From Away."I just love it, the music, the story, it's touching, yet very uplifting. See it! You won't be disappointed
Excellent!! My granddaughter ( who is in high school theatre) and I loved it!
The show projected the true meaning of the experience of a small city during a tragic event. The cast were excellent in expressing the meaning of the show supported by the music, lights and the quality of the sound.
I prefer older musicals. I did learn a lot though. Very high energy and very entertaining. Quite a story. Very well acted. Everyone worked very hard. Crowd loved it. Standing ovation.
Thunderous applause at the end of the performance!
Love…love…loved it!!!!!! You won’t be disappointed!
I've seen Come From Away three times and have loved it each time. I go to the Pantages a lot and have never seen an audience reaction like that. Everyone was on their feet and cheering so hard that the cast came out for a second bow. They stayed on their feet to cheer for the band that then came out and played. The show is poignant and funny at the same time. The cast and band are incredibly talented. I don't know anyone who doesn't like Come From Away. I highly recommend it.
This show was awesome! High energy, lots of great music and choreography! It captivated the audience from start to finish! At the poignant ending, the audience rose with one accord, to their feet with clapping and cheering! It was truly a magnificent experience and I highly recommend it! I would see it again in a heartbeat!
It is just an awesome show would like to go again such and emotional roller coaster
I have seen Come From Away at least six times. It is by far the best musical ever! This last time, I was sitting next to a gentleman that had never seen it before. I had told him that I had seen the show many times and it was my favorite. He had never seen it before. At the end of the show, he turned me and said “I get it now”.
Such a beautiful play ! A must see for everyone! The music is extraordinary and I cried and laughed and cried again.
Everything about this production was amazing. The music, the singing, the acting…they all had so much energy and enthusiasm. The story gives a beautiful blend of all emotions…comedy, drama and heartbreak that can all be felt by everyone in the audience. For those of us who lived through this event, portraying a side of the humanitarian actions that were completely unknown by some of us. The finale is uplifting and joyous, and gives a renewed sense of hope that despite tragedies, we can learn to love, and continue to live on.
The performances were excellent! Wonderful music, choreography and staging. I love the fact that the play is based on a true story. It’s funny, moving and heartwarming, and I would highly recommend it.
4th time seeing. Enjoy it every time. Each time I bring a new American friend. I have them read up or watch a video about what happened in Gander so they have a better understanding and appreciation of the play. Always a few tears and many laughs. Will continue going to see it whenever it comes to my area.
A spirit lifting story of humanity rising to the occasion to take care of each other.
I have seen this tour severals times and love both the individual stories and music. So many forgotten people on 9/11, and this is a beautiful tribute to Gander.
We all loved the show, including my 18 year old grandson who had seen it before in London. Uplifting, well done!
Really loved this show! Lots of energy, beautiful harmony, and memorable scores all while still educational of what happened. My 22 year old daughter and her boyfriend came with me and not only loved it but also got a perspective of something they were not alive for. Totally worth it!
