Great time with great friends! We love coming to Churchill for Thanksgiving weekend. This year we went Friday and Saturday. We were in a room Friday but just did general admission on Saturday. The room was nice to come back to after walking around. Food was good too. We will definitely do a room again next year for at least one of the days.
Had a great time without doing the work. Great meal and the venue was very convenient.

I had a delicious dinner at Churchill Down prepared by all the working individuals that spent the time out of their Thanksgiving to work with the public, which includes my mother as a clerk, to make it a memorable day for people.
I ate a lot of delicious food all day. I only lost 14 dollars. It was a very good day betting on the horses and celebrating Thanksgiving Day.
My party of 11 had a fabulous day. Weather was great. Easy entrance with electronic tickets on phone. Two first time Churchill Downs visitors from out of town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience during the walking tour and also for Day at the Races. The drinks in the Derby Cafe are out of this world! It was definitely a bucket list item and we are so happy that we decided to do it together! Seeing the horses live on the track is nothing like tv in comparison. We were new to the wager part and didn’t really have someone willing to help initially but after our “green” showed through our faces, we were told where we could find the wagering info in the program. Overall, a must do if in Louisville!
We always have a great time at Churchill Downs. We usually get seats in Millionaires Row which includes lunch when we purchase tickets. The last two times we have gone it seems they tend to begin to run out of food early. The buffet is open for three hours per the advertisement and food begins to start running out by the end of the second hour. So don’t wait until the last minute to eat. It’s always a great time.
Nice track and great viewing. Wasn’t as big a winner as we xpecfed.
Everything but the Buffet was wonderful. We had a table of eight. It seems like each time we go though, twice a year, the Buffet price goes significantly up, while the choice/quality of food goes down. Always pasta, overdone meat, boring rolls, and less choice of desserts. Guess we'll have to switch to the Menu and just have a sandwich. Server was very attentive and friendly.
It snowed! Too late in the season for this race. Many horses scratched. I will never again purchase tickets ahead of time for this late in the season weather wise…
We had a good time in our first visit to Churchill Downs, unfortunately there is some construction going on.
Day at races was an awesome experience had a great time enjoyed brunch, people that was sitting with was nice, first time meeting them, can’t wait for our next visit. I recommend anyone that has not visited Churchhill Downs at least visit once you will not be disappointed.

Everything about attending this event was easy. Purchasing and showing tickets at the gate, parking, directions, the facility, the staff at the track, betting, finding seats. It was a great chance to get the racetrack experience without tons of people. It was our first time and it won't be our last.
Cold vegetables, pulled pork and chicken pot pie is not what you would expect for $40 per person. Don’t think we will make that mistake again!
Seeing Churchill Downs for the first time was a fantastic experience. There were 6 of us, and we got seats together right by the finish line on the first level. From this location, you have to watch the first part of the race on the big screen. I didn't mind since I liked seeing the finish up close. It was chilly, but we would place our bets, watch the race, then go back in to grab food and drinks. A must-do while visiting Kentucky!
Beautiful grounds, comfortable seating, great food and beverage items, kind employees, clean restrooms, free programs, fabulous racing with beautiful animals and athleticism of the jockeys, and affordability of the entire experience made this event one we will remember for a long time. A perfect way to celebrate our anniversary in such a historic venue.
