Carol Burnett was fabulous. I've been to countless shows at Chicago Theater over the decades. This was one of the best!
It was a night I won't forget. Carol was gracious, funny, still has her quick wit and was an all around great night. I feel honored that I got to be in the presence of one of the greatest women of our time.
Although she started about7-8 minutes late, she was very entertaining and we were laughing all evening! She had several clips from her show and it was good to see them. Also she answered lots of questions from the audience. An excellent evening was had by all who attended!
Such a fantastic show! Carol was so cute and sincere. I would recommend it to everybody!
Carol Burnette sat on the stage, fielded questions, shared show chips to a fairly full auditorium, yet it felt as if we were in her living room having coffee. She is as charming and funny as ever. For me, it was like sharing an evening of fun and laughter with my late mom. Bravo!
Delighted w Carol’s authenticity, wit, engaging spirit. 80what?? One would never know. Her pattern to accept praise and graciously pass it on to her co-workers was a sign of her greatness-humility in action. Still has class and character.
Carol was a delight, very kind to audience members, great stories and great clips to share from her show.
Carol Burnett was all I hoped for and more. She showed clips we hadn't seen before, told wonderful stories about her career and it felt like we were sitting in a living room visiting with an old friend. She answered questions and shared so much with everyone. I hope to see her again soon.
great seats (Z} for a small venue. Question time was great but it would have been nice if Carol had actually looked up that high. But all in all, worth the wait
I was so happy to be able to see Carol Burnett. She was wonderful and just so kind. Loved listening to her stories and it was so great to see her ask the audience so many questions.
The combination of videos and Carol's memories was a fun trip down memory lane for us of an age who remember seeing all the skits on her program. I did notice that younger people in the audience were not as into it, maybe because they couldn't relate to the skits. The q and a could have been better if more actual questions were asked as opposed to flattering comments.
It was nice but didn't last as long for the price paid. No opportunity to get photos even though we were told could be taken at end of show. Really would have liked more opportunity
I loved it! It amazes me how sharp she is at her age. Taking questions from the audience and responding appropriately and with humor (of course!) and sensitivity. I was impressed that she agreed to meet two young girls backstage after the performance. I'm sure they were thrilled. It was interesting to hear how she managed her home life and children while preparing shows. What a lady!
I haven’t laughed this much in a long time! I need more Carol Burnett in my life.
Loved the video flashbacks. Could of used more and less Q&A.
Carol did an amazing show with lots of memory clips and questions and answers. Unfortunately she was going to sign my wife's record and someone elses book and told us to send it backstage. After the show she left immediately and staff was unsuccessful at locating her to provide her the items to be signed.
Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed at the long lines to enter the event as one had to clear security prior to purchasing anything to eat or drink. However, the lines moved much quicker about 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance. The show itself was terrific as it was met with much interest in how the questions from the audience were answered. The clips from past shows were also interesting, as was the commentary from Carol Burnett that explained the back story. A wonderful evening was had by all of us that attended.
Carol Burnett is a gem, and absolute treasure. It felt so amazing just to be in the same room with her....hearing her stories, her memories, and watching short video clips of her amazing career. Ms. Burnett, thank you for coming home to Hawaii to visit your beloved fans. Love you.
She was on her game, thoughtful and generous in her comments to the audience. Might have liked more clips from her t.v. shows and less questions to the audience, but we loved her and know that like Harvey and Tim we won't have her forever.
