Carol Burnett was phenomenal!! Brilliant!! Such a blessing to see her in Beautiful Honolulu, HI đ€
Reminisce with an icon. Carol treated us to an evening filled with her favorite clips and question after question from the audience. Carol was gracious and hilarious as ever and game to taking any question we had. I even got to ask one myselfâŠa dream come true! It was a one-woman show with no intermission, so we had time to make it for a special late dinner afterward. This was a once in lifetime experience you will not want to miss!
Miss Burnett interacted with the audience answering all kinds of questions. She treated each participant with curtesy and respect. There were many clips of episodes of her popular series that kept the audience in stitches. The evening was too short.
Enjoyed the evening with Carol. Gave one less star because we wished her show was longer. Good to laugh and reminisce.
I loved seeing Carol Burnett here in Honolulu . Her show brought back so many wonderful memories when we used to watch her show on tv years ago. I felt like I was in her living room while Carol answered questions from the audience. The old reruns of shows were the best!!! Thanks , Carol, for a very memorable evening !
When we decided to go to her show we did not know what to expect. A day before her first show she was interviewed by the morning paper - she was going to follow her TV show with questions and answers. When she answered her questions she also shared other memories and it was hilarious. The videos with more skits, celebrities and her costumes were so funny we kept talking about it during the week. A great show and well presented.
The use of my electronic ticket worked perfectly and freed my hands and mind of worrying about if I have my ticket, where did I put the ticket etc.
I so enjoyed this event. Ms. Burnett represents beautiful childhood memories for me and to share a room with her for a night was a dream come true. A national treasure and a strong and talented woman. Bravo Carol. We love you!
I was so excited to see Carol Burnett in person, I forgot to even attempt to take any pictures! About the only thing I could think of that would have made the experience better would have been either to allow us to bring our drinks (water) into the concert hall with us, or at the very least, post a message at the point of sale that drinks would not be permitted in the concert hall. I get thirsty very easily due to the various medications I'm on, so that caused me a little discomfort, but being able to see this legend in person made up for it.
Carol Burnett does not disappoint. She fielded the audience questions and comments with aplomb and humor. She told great stories about working with her friends and colleagues. She showed clips from her shows for breaks, and is a genuinely caring and generous spirit.
Laughs throughout the show and lots of clips from the Carol Burnett show. It was very disappointing when she didnât stay on stage for even a couple of minutes after the show because the audience was told before the show started that we could all take photos of her after the show.
She was as amazing as ever. Getting to see the old TV show clips. And her story telling, she never missed a beat. 86 years young. And the Tarzan yell. Well she brought the house down. If you get a chance to see her, do it.
My 84 year old mother & I had a wonderful time! Ms. Burnett is as witty and entertaining as she was back when The Carol Burnett Show first came on the scene. It was an hour and twenty minutes of audience questions and learning a lot about what went on behind the scenes. And also about her career and life in general. She is as charming as ever and it was time well spent!
Was really looking forward to a performance even if it was a little one but the whole thing was questions and answers with audience participation. Really stunk.we spent alot on tickets and waited months for the show.
The show was great! Carol related well with all of her audience questioners and reminded us all of several great moments from her shows. The film clips were very memorable. I'm old enough to haver remembered most of them. My only negative comment is, they announced that we could take pictures after the show during curtain call, but there was no curtain call, so I got to take no pictures of Carol.
It was a JOY to share the evening with 4 of my Gal Pals. Carol Burnett has been making laugh since I was little. I so desperately wanted to be in her company and share a moment with this icon of comedy. I had a great time and I highly suggest you go see her too.
Carol is charming and gracious, accepting compliments from the audience with grace and sincere appreciation. When the show begins clips of Carol in various scenes are shown on a screen. Great for the audience to see these to kick off the show. The great skit of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman in "The Dentist" was played and the audience roared in laughter. "Went with the Wind" (the curtain dress) was also shown. However, the question and answer period with the audience consumed too much time. If there is to be a Q&A perhaps it could be shortened in time and split into two segments, with skits shown between. For us, this part became very boring. When one hears the name "Carol Burnett" one expects to laugh; not sit for 45 minutes or more listening to select people share their memories of watching the show when they were younger. We get it though; for Carol that is heartwarming and that is important. Would just like it to be mixed around so it doesn't all come for such a long period. God's blessings to Carol, however, for all the joy and laughter she brought to so many for so long.
So nice to be entertained without foul language. Really enjoyed revisiting some of my favorite episodes and the question and answer session. Carol Burnett has a wonderful memory for her age and still looks great!
Carol Burnett was on stage about 90 minutes answering questions and playing clips from her show. I'm guessing she doesn't own the clips of her show since the clips she showed were limited. Regardless, she is a classic performer and provided full value for the ticket. I recommend this show.
What an enjoyable evening with an entertainment legend! She was so engaged and personable with audience! I love Carol and loved the show!
