About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

My wife and I saw Caamp at Radio City Music Hall on 09/13/25. The band was great (as usual- we've seen them before) as was the venue. The crowd was energized and the bad fed off of it. We're gonna see Caamp again at the "Out of the Blue"festival in Cancun in January, 2026.

This show was incredible. Caamp has incredibly energy and their songs are even better when heard performed live. They were amazing in concert

  • Great music, underwhelming audience connection.

by SR on 9/14/25Highmark Skyline Stage - Mann - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

The set was great with a good selection of old & new (wished they had added a few like Lavender Girl, Huckleberry Love, Let Things Go, or The Otter- but you can’t always get what you want!) The band clearly showed their talent and musicianship- sounded just as good live as on their recorded tracks. But it felt like they were just not psyched to be in Philly. Taylor made a few disparaging comments about not being at TD Pavilion. But, Caamp’s music & vibe is better suited to a laid back lawn concert like the Highmark Skyline Stage. And it was a gorgeous night too! They also seemed to just roll through the performance like they wanted to get it over with, didn’t seem to make much effort to connect with or enjoy the audience. If the band’s vibe matched their musical performance, it would have been a perfect concert.

  • Underwhelming

I love listening to Caamp at home and in the car but I was extremely disappointed seeing them live- they brought zero energy. It was like watching paint dry. Part of what makes a concert so much fun is the engagement from the performers, getting to connect with them, the music, the lyrics- but none of that happened at Caamp.

  • Band was great venue was not

by Lorie on 9/13/25Highmark Skyline Stage - Mann - PhiladelphiaRating: 3 out of 5

Caamp was great but they should have played the main venue not standing room general admission. Standing area was poor - dirt and some turf. Crowd should have offered seating and restrooms- not job Johnie's. This venue is best used for an under 35 crowd. Love the Mann but this was not a good decision having it up top.

  • Disappointing

by Suzy on 9/13/25Highmark Skyline Stage - Mann - PhiladelphiaRating: 2 out of 5

We've been fans of Caamp for years and have seen them live multiple times—they’re an incredible band, and we were especially looking forward to this show at the Skyline Stage at the Mann, one of our favorite venues. While the band sounded great, we were disappointed by the comments made during the performance regarding the venue. The remarks about how they “should be playing the main stage” came across as ungracious and dismissive of the Skyline Stage, and it noticeably shifted the mood of the crowd. What was shaping up to be a really special night felt tainted by the negativity. Publicly disparaging a venue—especially one beloved by fans who have come together to support you—felt unnecessary and, frankly, a bit immature. I'm not sure we will attend their concerts in the future.
