About

Acclaimed folk-rock band Caamp hits the road in 2025! The band recently released their brand new EP, Somewhere, their first collection of new music since 2022. The EP captures the band's signature warmth and introspective storytelling while exploring themes of love, change, nostalgia, and letting go.

Leading the release is "Let Things Go," a track that embodies the EP's reflective core. With its gentle, rolling arrangement and lyrics urging release and renewal, the song serves as a poignant reminder of the power of moving forward.

Caamp's loyal fans have helped them amass 2.2B + streams across their entire discography, 4.3MM + Monthly Listeners across DSPs, and an active social media following. With sold-out tours, headlining festival plays, and TV appearances, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, CBS This Morning, and Stephen Colbert, Caamp continues its journey with this new EP and single.

Caamp hails from Columbus, Ohio, and was founded by Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who grew up together. They launched the band out of Athens, OH, where Meier was attending Ohio University. Caamp has released four previous full-lengths - their self-titled 2016 debut, 2018's Boys, By and By in 2019 and Lavender Days in 2022.

  • Frustrated

I was honestly frustrated with this experience. I wanted to upgrade my tickets from lawn to pit. Waited until day of the show and was rejected twice. Once in the morning and once while checking in. Which made no sense because there were literally still pit tickets available until the show started. The venue would have made money out of the deal. Made no sense why they wouldn’t let me upgrade day of show.

  • Good show but left me wanting

by Dan Fan on 9/10/25Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre - CharlotteRating: 4 out of 5

Caamp put on a really good show. For a band that’s only been around a decade or so they have a lot of music in their catalog to pull from. That said, some of their best music, in my opinion, wasn’t played. No Believe, By and By, Otter, Mistake or Lavender Girl. A few unneeded covers and vocals by someone other than Taylor could’ve been replaced by some of those and the show would’ve been even better!

  • dissapointed

    by D. Nichols on 9/8/25Ascend Amphitheater - NashvilleRating: 3 out of 5

This was my first Caamp show. I have been a fan for many years but had not had the opportunity to attend a show. I was slightly disappointed. The only real engagement with the fans was negative from Taylor. I will continue to listen and love them from afar. I probably won't go back to a show. It is expensive to go to a shows, looks like they could be a little more crowd friendly. The music was great. They are wonderful musicians. Loved that Billy Currington came out and did a song. He was more engaged with the crowd in 1 song than I felt all night with Taylor.

  • Disappointed

by LS on 9/6/25Rating: 3 out of 5

We had seen Caamp a few years ago at DPAC and the concert was unreal. Not the same this time. Two openers… didn’t come out until 9:00 PM for a concert start of 7:00 PM. Then, lots of filler music between songs. The band seemed disjointed and out of sync. They lost the crowd’s attention multiple times. I left disappointed ☹️

  • Entertained!

by Ebee on 9/4/25Live Oak Bank Pavilion - WilmingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Entertaining, good vibe from crowd but lots of talking. Would be nice if the concert venue would post signs about the importance of respectythe artist and fans by limiting their chatter.

  • Sounded great. Late start

by David D on 9/3/25Live Oak Bank Pavilion - WilmingtonRating: 4 out of 5

Great performance by Caamp. Glad they are back on the stage. For a 7pm concert, they started at 9pm which we hadnt expected such a late start. I'm just not a fan of two opening acts if its an hour turnaround for each,

  • Fantastic evening

by Ree on 9/2/25Red Hat Amphitheater - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Caamp was everything I’d anticipated. Traveled from Michigan to see them. Red Hat Amphitheater is an amazing venue. Hope to be able to get back there.

  • Incredible!!!!

by Kaylee S. on 8/30/25The ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at the ICON festival stage in Cincinnati OH and I was extremely impressed by the venue. Caamp is such a talented band. I couldn’t believe my eyes or ears the whole time. There was miscommunication with the staff at the end of the concert where the open bathrooms and merch tables were, but other than that it was a 10/10 experience and such a reasonable ticket price. Would go again & again & again!

  • Blah

by BJF on 8/27/25The ICON Festival Stage at Smale Park - CincinnatiRating: 2 out of 5

Band wasn’t into it because the crowd wasn’t into it because the sound sucked. The band sounded good, but you could barely hear them. Sounds was at a 6, when it should have been a 10. Assuming that’s related to a sound ordinance and/or an agreement between MEMI and Cinci, Covington and Newport. Why even have the venue if you can’t ’turn it up’? Megacorp is a 1000x better. Caamp should return and play across the river. Will be better for all.

  • Caamp -💯 thank you! Brady - 80!

  • Epic

by Mandykalyn on 8/7/25Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Waited for over an hour in a crazy thunderstorm/downpour and it was worth every second! Buy the tickets! Go see Caamp!

  • We love Caamp!

by Amanda on 8/6/25Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Caamp was amazing! There was however one thing I was unhappy about. I bought a $22 can of wine. About 5 minutes later thunder/lightning started and we were told we had to leave. They told me I had to chug my wine (no thanks) or throw it away and immediately leave. That was a huge bummer.

  • Fabulous concert in spite of storm!

by Jennie W. on 8/5/25Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

CAAMP's concert in Bend, OR was delayed due to thunderstorm with lightning but the boys came out rearing to go! There were a few places with music-less interludes where Taylor works leave the stage but when he came back on, all was good. There were also musical interludes that the band played while Taylor was offstage and those were much more enjoyable as they really showcased how talented the band is. Great show overall!

  • Amazing performance

by Matt on 8/5/25Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Only downside was the show being delayed by the weather ie having to leave venue and come back and wait in line a second time, and because of that we didn’t get to hear a lot of futurebirds. Caamp was hands down amazing, played many of the favorites me and my Fiance sang along to, a couple off the new album, and a couple covers. Hearing the only otter of the tour was pretty awesome, and when Taylor was on stage alone singing strawberries was such a surreal experience, along with 26 for the first encore! Bend was a great city with a great venue, and would gladly make the 6 hour drive to see caamp there again!

  • We love CAAMP, but . . .

by Jack on 8/5/25Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 3 out of 5

This was our 3rd time seeing CAAMP. We always love the outdoor vunue at Hayden Homes but this time we were evacuated for an hour to wait out a storm. This was fine, but we expected CAAMP to play at least until the curfew of 10p since they started late. They shut things down at around 9:40 and their final song was them messing around with CA Dreaming. Surprised that they did not play a single song from their new album as well. Still good, as always though!

  • Lightning delay but worth the wait in the rain

by Alyssa on 8/5/25Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

The CAAMP show on August 2nd in Bend, Oregon was an amazing performance. We were booted out of the venue shortly after entering and getting seats due to lightning. An hour and a half later after a heck of a rain and thunder storm, we reentered the venue with ease. The opening band, FutureBirds had started at the same time we began reentry, so that was a bummer. There set was shortened. Their performance was great. Energetic, fun and engaging. Then our headliner CAAMP entered the stage and the energy of the venue was electric. They performed for an hour and a half-with energy, charisma and several instrument changes. It was incredible to watch the talent on stage. They came back for an encore and even brought back out FutureBirds for a rendition of “California Dreamin”. Excellent show.

  • Great Show

The energy and music was awesome. Opener and Caamp really showed up for this concert.

  • Great show!

    by Fan on 7/22/25Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 5 out of 5

Caamp was great, even telling off Mr. Freebird! Only complaint was the lighting -- couldn't see their faces well.

  • Great Show - Lots Missing

    by Lo on 7/22/25Greek Theatre-U.C. Berkeley - BerkeleyRating: 3 out of 5

Incredible musicians, incredible show. Fun and engaging. Super bummed y’all didn’t do some All the Debts I Owe or The Otter. Those are songs the crowd was begging for. Would have gladly traded the cover songs or suggested more efficient instrument-switching to save time for more songs.

  • Magical first concert

by Katie on 7/21/25Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first concert EVER. I couldn't imagined anything better. They sound exactly like they do on their records and seeing Taylor walk through the stands was amazing. Can't wait to see them again.
