    More in love than before

by tlutherful on 2/14/11Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

I had wanted to see a Broken Social Scene show for years and couldn't miss it when I heard they would be in Atlanta. The venue was perfect, huge space and no chairs in it for awesome dancing action.

    Blew my mind

by Wendilupi on 2/14/11The Ritz Ybor - Tampa

The Ritz was already becoming one of my favorite concert venues and Broken Social Scene together with Zeus helped solidify it! BEST show I've seen in a while and I been to 4 so far this year.

Broken Social Scene, as always, put on a great show! They are a band you can sit and relax too (as some did up in the balcony) or you can really move too, as many more did down in front of the stage. They played something from all of their albums. Even after over 2 hours of playing I didn't want it to end.

    Broken Social Scene was amazing.

by Annanana on 2/12/11Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

Broken Social Scene played 20 songs, many from their new album. Kevin Drew loved the crowd, and told some interesting/funny stories. Everyone did a fantastic job. The drummer was sick all morning, and they almost cancelled, but he insisted on playing and he really played well.

    BSS was great in ATL

by carlosworthington on 2/12/11Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

A mellower show than the one in NYC back in late September, BSS delivered nonetheless. There wasn't any crowd surfing, but the sound was fantastic, they played a long and excellent set, and I felt a real connection with the people on stage and in the audience. It was a lot of fun and kind of cathartic, which is exactly what I want to experience.

The air you breathe is real

    by dwood17 on 1/23/11Terminal 5 - New York

I bought two tickets to this show hoping to find someone with music taste similar to mine by the time of the show. I ended up being invited to the show after I'd bought the tix by a friend from work. We ended up inviting some other friends and went as a group of four. The show was by far one of the best I've ever been to. Their set was unreal. They literally played every song I wanted (needed) them to. :) I would have liked to hear more of Spirit If... but Kevin Drew fronts a lot of the Forgiveness Rock Record so the balance was nice. I actually got some footage that's up on youtube of their encore set (wasn't part of the youtube broadcast) Just look for dwoodmusicLI as a user and you'll find it. Broken Social Scene is an unbelievable, uplifting band to see live. I'll be at each show they play. Thanks.

It was my first time at Terminal 5 and I loved it. I will definitely return. I have seen BSS many times and will continue to go to their shows in the New York/Philadelphia area.

    great music, poor crowd

    by beardog17 on 1/20/11Terminal 5 - New York

Broken Social Scene is, obviously, an outstanding group. Their performance was SUPERB and couldn't have been better. The real issue with this performance is that, for whatever, the NY crowd at Terminal 5 was nearly as boring as a senior citizen home. I was really disappointed that people barely even swayed or bopped to the beat, even during the most upbeat and exciting songs. Granted, Broken Social Scene is not the kind of group that has mosh pits at its concerts, but it's not as if all of their songs are slow or dull. None of them are dull and some of them are danceable. To add to the disappointment of the concert, the crowd showed little to no enthusiasm at the end of the show, but because it was being televised, Broken Social Scene had to come out for an encore even though the crowd did not earn it in the least. Really depressing.

    Solid show

by abdulnaby on 1/20/11Terminal 5 - New York

I felt that they performed a wide spectrum of their catalog, but ran through it fast. The video presentation may have been a factor of anxiety. Nevertheless, I recommend them to any fan of rock music.

    Completely SONIC!!!

by Thegrinch33 on 1/18/11THE MUSIC HALL - LONDON

This was the third time I've seen them, in three different-sized venues, and this BY FAR was the best show I've seen...the setlist was perfect, and the small club didn't dampen their sound, which wasn't overdone (although my ears still rang the next morning). This band simply must be seen live to be fully appreciated. The music hall was bumpin'!

    BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE IS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

by cbare on 12/21/10Métropolis - Montreal

I felt utterly enveloped in the throes of passion emitting from their instruments and mouths, sounds that swept me up and kept me in that moment and I thought to myself, "THERE IS NO WHERE ELSE I'D RATHER BE BUT HERE" And for god knows how long I remained basking in the glory of their soul's creations. UTTER BRILLIANCE. COMPLETE AND UTTER MAGNIFICENCE.

    Never a let down

    by allycat26 on 12/13/10Sound Academy - Toronto

As always BSS put on a fantastic show. They played a super long set with guests from Feist, The Stills and Metric. I have seen BSS a million times and this was top three in my books!

    Awe-inspiring

by Anonymous on 11/28/10The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I had seen Broken Social Scene a few months prior in San Francisco and was so blown away I immediately bought tickets to this show. Truth be told, I'm still riding the high from the show. I crocheted an owl before the show and stitched the initials of the first letters of the people I came with in the 3 hours we waited in line (in the rain). The whole performance felt very personal, but that could be because we were in the very front. I felt as if they looked into my eyes when they sang. The instruments brought complete immediacy to the moment, almost as if past and future had ceased to exist.

EVERYONE needs to experience BSS LIVE

by musicyesplease on 10/30/10McMenamins Crystal Ballroom - Portland

Broken Social Scene knows how to put on a show. Seriously. It's worth the money. No, actually the concert was worth way more than the ticket price.
