    Absolutely Magical

by Mariah M. on 2/13/23The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues - Dallas

I went to this event alone hoping I would make some friends while I was there. What I didn't realize was just how easy that would be. Brought together by the love of Broadway and held together by the love of performance. It was a truly magical thing to be a part of. It sounds cheesy but there was a joy in the room that I've never experienced before. I wish I got more people's names. There's Broadway family in Dallas waiting to gather again. See y'all at the next one!

    You couldn’t stop the beat!

by Liz on 2/13/23Voodoo Room at the House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

We had the best time dancing and singing along to all of our favorite Broadway songs! Really fun chance to channel our inner theater kid every once in a while. 10/10 would go again!

    SLC Broadway Rave

by SlcBRave on 2/7/23The Depot - Salt Lake City

I enjoyed the music and the option to make requests. I didn’t like the videos playing. The quality was bad. Very grainy. Many of them had logos of the place they were taken from. They played the same ones over and over and they had nothing to do with the particular song or show happening at that time. The venue didn’t serve any alcohol, which isn’t necessary but it might have been nice to know before. I did have to be 18 and not 21 so that’s probably on me. Overall, I had a great time, I just wished the video quality had been better.

Fun, Amazing, and the BEST Crowd

by Scott in Denver on 1/31/23Marquis Theater - Denver

Are you a theater kid? Just happen to love musicals? Or just a decent, interesting, lovable human? Then go! Zero regrets. Loved it!

    Eh...

by Mike on 1/31/23Marquis Theater - Denver

Its basically a stage with a DJ proctoring 10 theatre kids scream singing Rent and Hamilton at you with minimal lighting. My desire was basically that + maybe some lyrics on a screen, maybe some kind of "rave-like" lighting. Meh, but it wasnt expensive?

    Bring Broadway Rave back ASAP

by Ashley on 1/30/23Saint Andrew's Hall - Detroit

What an absolutely joyful night of just singing and dancing and cosplay and being nerds. Please bring this event back asap; we all had an incredible time. (Maybe just salt the outside of the hall a little better if it's going to continue taking place in winter. :) )

    Not great

by Molly on 1/30/23Saint Andrew's Hall - Detroit

The show consisted of a person playing songs from their laptop like a middle school/high school dance. They took requests though social media. They started at 10pm when the event was supposed to start at 9. Music ranged from slow to fast paced music so there was little consistency. Not fast paced or high energy enough to be considered a rave. Some songs also contained actor lines which put a damper on the energy. I was hoping for remixed musical songs.

    BEST night ever!

by Mel on 1/30/23Saint Andrew's Hall - Detroit

This event was full of joy and nothing but smiles. Scream singing Defying Gravity with a couple hundred people was an experience I didn't know I needed! I'm a little mad I didn't think of this idea first! I would absolutely go again!

    Had a blast!

by Kelly on 1/30/23Saint Andrew's Hall - Detroit

We had a lot of fun singing and dancing with other theatre geeks. The only complaint I would have is that when we purchased our tickets online, there were three prices for the same tickets. We purchased the more expensive ones, assuming we could get to the balcony by paying extra. That wasn't the case.

A Must for Musical Theater Fans!

by Yvonne on 1/10/23The Belasco - Los Angeles

This event felt so special in the sense that we were free to be our weird, dramatic, and quirky selves with other Broadway lovers. We were singing to and dancing with strangers that some turned into newfound friends at the end of the rave. I would immediately buy a ticket again the next time it comes around!

    Awesome and amazing

by Haley on 1/10/23The Belasco - Los Angeles

My daughter and I had the best time. She met a group of people at the OC event and they met up ar the LA event because they had so much fun. What a fantastic idea and just an absolute blast. Only think I would say is that the bass was way too much in OC. It took my ears two days to recover. Musical Theater music doesn’t need bass. It was way too much. Other than that I think they were both amazing events at great venues. I wish the lounge had been open at the Belasco. Us old people neee a place to sit down.

    So much fun!

by Jeff on 1/10/23The Belasco - Los Angeles

Way more fun than we expected it to be. Thought we would stay only 1 hour or maybe 1.5 hours, but stayed til the end at 1AM and wished they had continued for another 3 hours. The crowd was great and the music was awesome. Would totally go again, and 100% recommend for musical fans.

    SUCH A BLAST

by itsame on 1/10/23The Belasco - Los Angeles

One of the most fun nights out I've had in LA, and I've had a lot! Such a safe, fun, place to sing and dance and express yourself. The best vibes. Loved it. I only wish they would've started a little earlier so we could've had more time to enjoy it.

    A fun time!

by B on 1/8/23The Observatory - Santa Ana

It felt so nice to be singing and dancing in a room full of theatre-lovers. They didn't have any of their own performers when I attended so they invited anyone from the audience (especially people in costumes) to come up on the stage to dance and lip-sync. Definitely come in costume if you can, it makes it so much more fun! My only request is that they change the playlist a bit. There was a lack of variety in the musicals featured. Expect a lot of Hamilton, Rent, and Les Mis on rotation. Many of the songs were very hard to actually dance to, and if you don't know the lyrics, you just stand there awkwardly (ex. Popular from Wicked and Louder than Words from tick, tick... BOOM! were great examples). And not playing a single song from Newsies was criminal!

    An absolute epic night

by Haley on 1/8/23The Observatory - Santa Ana

What a blast!!! We had the best time. We went to the OC event. Had so much fun so we went to the LA event a couple days later. I hope they continue to bring this event to So Cal. What a great group of kind, supportive, accepting people. Just amazing!!!!!!
