I've never been to a circuit party before and I was extremely nervous. That ended within minutes of entering. This far exceeded my expectations, I've never felt more accepted and free to be myself. 10/10 will absolutely be at more CircuitMOM events. Thank you! <3
The DJ had some really harsh transitions in their set, when I loved the music and it flowed it was great; when it sputtered it was really noticeable and took you out of it. I didn’t recognize the DJ either, and you’d think for a big event with this ticket cost maybe they could have gotten one of the big names that hydrate seems to get on at least a monthly basis. It was nice that circuit mom seems to have taken past feedback to heart and has more of a focus on the music people came to experience. The venue is always amazing.

First time going to an event like this and it quite honestly was not what I expected. I’ve been to dance parties before but this was overwhelming when only going there with one other person. The music was way too loud to even attempt to talk to other people (which is a minor thing cause I was visiting and would likely never see any of these people ever again but still). I saw coke everywhere and honestly this was my first time ever seeing a coke spoon! Needless to say, I left by 2AM and would like my money back if at all possible.
In my opinion, this was one of the most disappointing DJ sets I’ve ever experienced. I personally didn’t enjoy DJ Paulo’s music at all — the vibe felt completely off, and I noticed many guests weren’t dancing and seemed unengaged. The party had great potential, but for me, the setlist just didn’t work and it really brought the energy down. I was also surprised that there was only one DJ for the entire night. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right fit for the crowd in my view.
If there was an award for How to Ruin a Party in Record Time, DJ Paulo would win it hands down. I’ve been to funerals with better music. The vibe was so dead you could hear people’s souls leaving their bodies. Everyone looked like they were being punished, not entertained. The setlist? A tragic mix of songs that somehow managed to kill any will to dance. And the production team? Just stood there, letting one single DJ destroy the entire night. One DJ. All night. DJ Paulo, if this was your audition for “Worst DJ Ever,” congratulations, you nailed it.
Circuit Mom always produces an excellent show, but once again the Aragon Ballroom was a sauna - beyond hot. European halls produce huge circuit events with working AC and industrial fans. The Aragon has a few bedrooms fans. Not fun dripping in sweat all night long.
Flew in from Nashville just to attend this event and hear DJ Tony Moran. We dont' have parties like this in Tennesse, so I always go where the circuit parties are! Never had been to Aragon; but it was a beautiful space. High ceilings and fascinating architecture. I was a bit disappointed in the crowd size, it seemed to thin out before 2:00 am. I was surprised considering the size of Chicago. But all in all it was worth the trip. Love Chicago!
Circuit Mom put on a show for the ages! Amazing music, costumes, and choreography. The production truly lived up to its title: Dream!
What an amazing time it was sat and Sunday I enjoyed it so much, fly from Canada . 1st time in Chicago. Definitely will be back next year market days Thank you
