Would go again
by RarelyAttendsEvents on 11/19/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 4 out of 5First time at a professional orchestra performance. Venue was historical, which was a bonus. Event was well-attended, and there weren't many disruptive people (unlike the movie theater, where people always seem to be getting out their phones or yapping to their friend). We sat in the balcony, just a handful of rows from the top, and it was a good angle to be able to see the majority of the musicians and singers. Binoculars would have been helpful, but it was more about sound than sight. The speaker quality was just fine, and it was set to an appropriate level. The screen on which the movie was projected was adequately sized, and the subtitles shown were actually very helpful. I was able to pick up on a lot of jokes and dialogue I'd never noticed or understood before, so it added to my enjoyment of the event. Seating was a little cramped, and it got very warm in the seats (should have brought a water bottle).
