Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) is the preeminent non-profit presenter of Broadway theater in North Texas. DSM produces, presents and promotes excellence in live musical theater with year-round performances for diverse audiences of all ages, impacting the lives of children and families through community outreach and education, and enriching the cultural landscape of Dallas/Fort Worth, North Texas and the Southwest Region.
DSM is the largest producer and presenter of live theatrical entertainment in the Southwest, the second oldest summer theater organization in the United States, and the fourth largest non-profit theater company. In addition to presenting national Broadway tours, DSM also produces shows on Broadway, presents and tours local productions, and is involved in developing new works. DSM is the winner of six Tony awards and two Drama Desk awards.
This was my 3rd time seeing Lion King & it was just as great as I remembered! If you are looking for an entertaining play that you never lose interest this is one to see. Great for all ages!! I would see it again defiantly. Great cast & crew! Whoever thought up the costumes for this play did an excellent job, everything was so colorful!
We learned from other people about this musical, never had the chance to attend this one, until now. This musical is amazing, the music, singers, dancers, puppeteers, the effects. I recommend this show for the whole family. We want to see it again.
The opening of the show and the different scene changes was simply awesome. The cast was very talented and kept my interest throughout the show. I would recommend this show to everyone.

This production was absolutely incredible! The costumes, make-up, and set design were remarkable. By far the best musical I've ever seen!
This is our fourth time to see it and we love it every time the magic of how they made this work still takes my breath away.

Costumes and Puppetry was amazing and the actors were trained well on how to use the puppets.
Loved, loved, loved this musical. I have seen it 3 times and would go again. Rates up there with "Wicked" as one of the favorites. this time we took our 3 year old grand daughter. she was mesmerized throughout the whole production. Simply amazing. Costumes, voices, music. PERFECT!
The show was amazing! My 14 and 11 year old sons loved it and they are pretty hard to please. I was captivated the whole show. If you ever get a chance to we it I highly recommend it.

The lion king is an amazing Disney production onstage. Beautiful costumes and family friendly. I have seen this twice before, but it was a first for our 7 year old. He loved it. While the stage production was 4 stars, the venue at fair park was a 1 star. It was dirty and in a drastic need of a remodel. The sound was poor in quality as the performers were not mic'ed well. My favorite part, the first song, lacked in punch and wonder due to poor sound quality.
Lion King was a beautiful production. From the amazing vocals to the extraordinary visuals with costuming and sets, it was an experience not to be missed.
This is the second time seeing Lion King and it still delivers the same impact, truly amazing! I recommend for everyone to see it. Words really cannot express what the Lion King show even looks like. Trying to describe the scenery or costumes to someone is impossible. And the the music and humor that goes along with it, it is fabulous!!!
This was my second play in life I attended and it was great! The production, acting, singing and makeup was fantastic.
