Would definitely recommend to any LOTR fan out there! Amazing show, amazing score, amazing performance! Well done!
Wonderful experience!
by ManofGondor on 11/11/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 4 out of 5Many times I was lost in the movie and forgot that I was listening to a symphony. The integration was seamless! The only reason for not giving 5 stars is because for 30 minutes after the performance started ushers were showing seats to late-comers; I thought the doors would be closed.
Not what I paid for
by SteveDa11as on 11/11/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 2 out of 5This was NOT the Dallas Pops. It was nothing more than a bunch of college students and their playing reflected that. I suspect it may have something to do with a union dispute. In any case, I no longer trust the Dallas Symphony organization to advertise truthfully.

It was awesome. If I didn't see the band there I would have thought the music was coming from the movie itself.
not worth the time of day
by KrisNel on 11/11/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 1 out of 5I was extremely disappointed. I don't know what I was expecting but I was NOT expecting a low quality screening of the movie with an orchestra playing that could not stay on cue. Listening to the chorus was the equivalent of listening to a solo saprano due to the fact that they didn't bother to do a proper sound check. We ended up leaving about half way through. Over all, this was the worst thing I have ever spent my money on through Ticketmaster.

Lion King Amazes!
by BootScoot24 on 11/3/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5Even though I had seen the Lion King years ago, it was still spectacular! I felt like a child as I stared at the creativity with awe. The staging is genius and the actors were superb.
The Lion King roared!
by Michar on 10/28/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5Although none of the actors highlighted in the beautiful program were on stage for the Dallas performance, the ones we saw were incredible. The cast was so practiced that you didn't even notice the "humans" making the animals move. I was worried about believing Zazu, but he was just great. And, if I were voting for the best, Rafiki would be the winner! Wonderful voice - and that character has to be good. Would see it again and would recommend it!
The Lion King is a MUST SEE.
by jbustudent14 on 10/27/13Music Hall At Fair Park - DallasRating: 5 out of 5The entire production was absolutely incredible. The choreography, the singing, the acting...all of it brilliant. I got chills multiple times during the show. And Rafikki's voice was awe-inspiring. The production was completely magical. The entire family could definitely enjoy it. I had high expectations going in and it still exceeded what I anticipated. If you can, go see it. It is worth every moment!
