ADAM SAVAGE & MICHAEL STEVENS BRING YOU

BRAIN CANDY LIVE

It’s what your mind is hungry for…

Adam Savage, one of television's most loved personalities, has joined forces with Michael Stevens, one of YouTube's biggest stars and they're coming to a theater near you. They’re bringing along more than three tons of their crazy toys, incredible tools and mind-blowing demonstrations for a celebration of curiosity that’s an interactive, hands-on, minds-on theatrical experience like no other.

Brain Candy Live has been described as "A cross between TED Talks and the Blue Man Group."  Savage and Stevens can’t wait to unleash their collective sense of wonder, curiosity and fun and they’re inviting you and your friends and family to join-in and get your minds messy. Adam and Michael’s Brain Candy Live experience is like a two-hour play date with Walt Disney, Willy Wonka and Albert Einstein.

Ask yourself, "Is it possible to 3D print a human - live onstage? Can you slow down the effects of gravity with something we throw away every day? What happens if everyone on earth jumps in the air at exactly the same time? Can anyone bottle-up a magical invisible substance and use it to power a rocket?" Discover all this and more as Adam and Michael entertainingly answer questions, question answers and talk Mother Nature into doing some things she’s never done before!

Smart is the new superpower and two of this planet's most entertaining everyday heroes are coming to your town to rescue you and your family from boredom. Join them as they use their secret recipe of fun, surprise, excitement (and just a pinch of danger) to cook-up and deliver a giant batch of magical Brain Candy to every mind in the audience.

    Fun and Interesting

    by InsertName64 on 12/11/17Louisville Palace - Louisville

Very enjoyable show. Keep in mind that it is for all ages, Some people were expecting college level science but the room is full of people ages 8 to 80 and the show is designed for all. Quite enjoyable and made me think. i learned from it and I laughed at the same time.

Brain Candy was well worth it!

by TonyandAlexH on 12/11/17Akron Civic Theatre - Akron

Myself and my Seven year old son were very well entertained. I appreciated the family style in which it was presented, and the simple analogies and explanations which helped the younger attendees to comprehend what was occurring.

    Great for the kids

by Anonymous on 12/10/17Louisville Palace - Louisville

My kiddo loved it! He loved how the smoke rings went flying through the air and the blasting of ping pong balls. He really wanted to go up on stage but I’m not sure how you get to be able to be one of the chosen kids to do that

    Fun science

by JamiesBeret on 12/9/17Peabody Opera House - St. Louis

An entertaining, low-key evening of science, discussion and fun. Not quite as over-the-top as the MythBusters tour, but seeing Adam and Michael is worth the meagre cost.

    My son loved it

by Kdok on 12/7/17Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

My son is a science geek and watches VSauce all the time and even gets his Curosity Box and T-shirts (which are $30 at the show) thus he thought the show was awesome. I think it was a bit overpriced however, what truly is the value of getting your kid stoked on science and not on a video game?

Silly Rabbit, Brain Candy is for kids!

by JayCeeplease on 12/6/17Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

This is a great event for kids. I believe that adults who are likely to attend this type of event are scientifically literate and, therefore, may not be entertained by this show. I decided to attend based, in part, by the time of the event. 7 pm on a school night implies a show geared towards adults. It was a kids show. Either market it as a kids' show (with kid/family/school friendly show times) or make the show a little more rigorous for scientifically literate adults.

I brought my two sons to this, they thought it was completely awesome. My oldest son is a big Adam Savage fan and now he's big into VSauce too. Says this was probably the best show he's ever seen.

    Nerdy Fun

by SMcMoe on 12/6/17Orpheum Theatre - Minneapolis

My 13 yo son knew about the event from YouTube and asked for tickets. I'm so glad I splurged for them. He loved every nerdy minute of it! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was basically a comedy/magic show based on real science. Adam and Michael are funny, the show is well written and of course, educational. As a 48 yo, some of it was a little too scripted / slow and other times the scientific content or youtube jokes went over my head. People 6-86 yo enjoyed it and I would recommend it for anyone looking to geek out on science.
