About

Bluesy singer/songwriter Bonnie Raitt has worked long and hard for her multiple Grammy Awards, hit singles and chart-topping records. Since her 1971 eponymous debut, the California-born performer and long-time activist has steadily maintained a music career, albeit with definite peaks and valleys. The red-headed songstress, one of the only women of her time to play guitar using the bottleneck technique, unleashed seven albums in just nine years, though her big commercial break came with her 10th studio set, 1989’s “Nick of Time.” That 11-track collection, produced by Don Was, earned three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

Not only has the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer tackled multiple U.S. tours and international runs, but she’s also a frequent participant in events of social activism, such as Farm Aid and Amnesty International concerts.

Raitt’s 16th full-length album and most recent studio release, “Slipstream,” hit retailers in 2012. Not only did ticket sales for the support tour soar, but Raitt also landed the best-selling blues album of the year and took home the Grammy for Best Americana Album.

  • Bonnie Raitt

by De on 9/26/25The Astro Amphitheater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

The outside venue is very nice. Seats were a little rickety and they were too close together. The sound was really good, you could actually hear the words that she was singing ,the stage was well lit. Getting out and in to parking and the venue was reasonable.

  • Better than ever

by Fritz on 9/26/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Her voice gets stronger and better as the years go by! It was like visiting a long lost friend. Her guitar and piano was amazing. Loved the way some of the old classics had new twists on the arrangements.

Bonnie Raitt & Jimmie Vaughan did not disappoint. They were terrific!

  • A really good concert

by whtsituya on 9/26/25The Astro Amphitheater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

We have attended several concerts at the Astro Amphitheater and this Bonnie Raitt concert was one of the best. The sound engineering and lighting were perfect. Of course Bonnie and bands were great Ticketing was easy and getting in and seated good. Chairs are way too small and uncomfortable for us older folk, and too close together. Parking like any venue was a bit of a hassle but doable.

  • Great music - Great Venue

by Great Show Bonnie!!! on 9/26/25The Astro Amphitheater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

As always Bonnie Raitt delivered a wonderful musical experience. Jimmie Vaughan was an added treat! First time at this venue and it was terrific. Seating was a bit tight but we made it work. Concessions and beverages were expensive but very good.

  • Beautiful evening!

by ranchhandwife on 9/26/25The Astro Amphitheater - La VistaRating: 5 out of 5

The Astro in La Vista outdoor venue was a wonderful spot for the Bonnie Raitt/Jimmie Vaughan concert! The workers were fabulous, the sound system great and of course - fabulous musicians made it the most delightful evening! Every one around us was having a fun filled time and the whole event was perfect!

  • Music great, crowd not so much

by jellis on 9/26/25The Astro Amphitheater - La VistaRating: 4 out of 5

Her performance was great. Portions of the crowd behaved as if they were sitting in the back of a bad=r with loud boisterous conversation that took away from the show.

  • Raitt is great!

by Caterina on 9/25/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Bonnie is as great as ever! And with her traveling buddy Jimmie Vaughn getting you ready for her music was the best! The Ledge venue is a great place very organized and welcoming to concert goers.

  • Her voice is still so beautiful!

by Lynard on 9/24/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

The Ledge was a perfect venue to see Bonnie Raitt. She’s still got it! Had a really great time.

  • Great concert & venue

by Cunninghamster on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 4 out of 5

Bonnie Raitt plus Jimmy Vaughan & The Tilt-A-Whirl Band were fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better concert. I really enjoy The Ledge Amphitheater, but they could do a little better job of admitting incoming concert goers more quickly. The line was really long and they didn't have enough staff/entry gates to help move the attendees in quickly. Other than that, I had no complaints.

  • Wonderful Bonnie Raitt show at The Ledge

by Bluesman on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Bonnie is such a strong performer. Belts out the best slide guitar I have ever heard. Soft tender ballads and rocking fun on others. She and her great cast really put on a show! Jimmy Vaughn a fabulous second act. Really love his big baritone saxes growling away on his tunes. The encore with all the performers out there jamming away was great! Will look forward to seeing Bonnie perform again and won't hesitate to book a show at The Ledge. What a fabulous venue.

  • Great Concert

by NativeIowan on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

As one who has always been a Bonnie Raitt fan, this concert did not disappoint. The Ledge Amphitheater in St. Cloud, MN is a smaller venue and I always appreciate artists who perform at these venues because it is more intimate and almost all seats are good seats. Ms. Raitt acknowledged that it was a full house, which she did not expect, given the Farm Aid event in the Twin Cities, which is about an hour away, and the late time of the year, which in Minnesota, can be really chilly. The weather initially was on and off mist, but cleared out for her performance. Her voice and her guitar and keyboard playing are as good as ever. I confess I did not know the opening act artist, Jimmy Vaughn, but he fit in with the music of Ms. Raitt, in this case rhythm and blues. Ms. Raitt sung both old and new songs, which I likewise appreciate. All in all a very enjoyable evening!

  • Bonnie Raitt at Waite Park

by Bill Huseth on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Bonnie was off the charts! Most underrated slide guitarist I've ever heard. She and her great band just killed it!!! I'll go to see her whenever she plays nearby!

  • Venue & music

  • A great concert at an excellent venue!

by Cindi on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Loved seeing both Jimmie Vaughan and Bonnie Raitt. Really enjoyed the collaboration at the end. The venue was intimate and had great acoustics. Will definitely look forward to another concert at the Ledge.

  • Exceptional concert

Exceptional. Both Raitt and Vaughn. Highly recommend seeing them.

  • Bonnie Bad Ass Still Reigns

by MaggieH on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

If you have ever experienced seeing Bonnie Raitt in person you know what it feels like. She is still such a bad ass on the guitar and her vocals are still the same blissful sound. It was just what I needed.

  • Bonnit Raitt at The Ledge Amphitheater, St Cloud, MN

by Hanny on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

Absolute fantastic show, her guest Jimmy Vaughn put on a great show as well,. I've been to hundreds of shows over my life and this Amphitheater had the best sound I've ever heard. I hope she comes back next year, I would by my tickets now and plan to see other future shows there as well.

  • Maybe the best yet!

by KCA on 9/23/25The Ledge Amphitheater - Waite ParkRating: 5 out of 5

The Ledge is an awesome venue, especially when the weather cooperates. This is probably the 6th or 7th time I've seen Bonnie Raitt and the third time I've seen Jimmie Vaughan but this may be the best one yet. Bonnie's voice was as good as ever and she played an excellent setlist. The encore with both Bonnie and Jimmie playing together was great - love the horn section from the Tilt-a-Whirl band

  • Amazing show with personality of its own!

by AnnDee on 9/20/25Adler Theatre - DavenportRating: 4 out of 5

The Adler Theatre in Davenport is always a good venue, with helpful volunteers to see to your needs. The seats in the balcony allow for all to see the performance, although the stairs without railings can be challenging for those with mobility issues. The show was superb with a good selection of familiar songs along with new numbers. Even though I understand the no camera policy, many were just wanting a snapshot which was not allowed (and everyone was repeatedly reminded of it). After the show there was a line up of all band members. That’s when you can take pictures. Just wish that would have been announced so we could have been ready (and it might have persuaded those wanting an earlier pic to wait!?!) A very gracious Bonnie Raitt who rocked!
