BOB’S BURGERS LIVE

Zany animated sitcom Bob’s Burgers is going from the small screen to the theater stage for the exciting new Bob’s Burgers Live tour. Ticket buyers will be treated to an evening of stand-up performances from show creator Loren Bouchard as well as comedy veterans H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal, Eugene Mirman, Dan Mintz and John Roberts -- or, as they’re better known, the Belcher family. The evening will also include several animated vignettes, a script reading, and an audience Q&A. For fans of the show, this promises to be a unique and laughter-filled way to get to know the people behind the voices and characters that have made the show so consistently hilarious.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Bob’s Burgers is the brainchild of animator Loren Bouchard, who also created beloved animated shows Lucy the Daughter of the Devil and Home Movies (with co-creator Brendan Small). H. Jon Benjamin and his inimitable voice have been involved prominently with all three shows, along with roles on Archer and Family Guy. Joining Benjamin on stage are cast members Kristen Schaal (The Daily Show), Eugene Mirman (Delocated), John Roberts (guest on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), and Dan Mintz (guest on Mulaney), who add even more humor and talent to the mix  for an uproarious, must-see evening.

    Funny at times

by Anonymous on 8/13/18Moore Theatre - Seattle

Moore theatre really needed A/C. Very small theater with no circulation. The cast did their stand up. Audience (my self included) really wanted to hear their Bob's Burger impressions

    Awesome show!

by Jamzzzz on 6/24/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Awesome show overall! Great venue, lots of parking around the area so easy access. Show had a lot of amenities to it, like merch and food and drinks.

Loved The Band! The stand up meh

by shredhead on 6/23/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

I was expecting more fart jokes. The stand up comedy in the first half was mostly Jew gay jokes but I laughed at "Tina". The second half of music from the show made up for the "comedy". The musicians were excellent, the props WOW and the choice of songs, though missing "girls being girls" was fun.

Bob Burgers was underwhelming for the price point

by Anonymous on 6/21/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

Felt pretty disappointed with the "thrown together" feel. We're big fans of the show and we're really excited to get a behind the scenes look... but for $150 for two tickets the setup felt awkward, just literally a few minutes of stand up each. Overall, we were pretty bummed that a few cast members didn't even seen interested, left feeling "meh", which I can honestly say we've never had happen. I'm usually always able to find the value in a show, even ones presented in a way that is outside my taste...but this was just super overpriced. Was more like $20 or $30 a ticket show.

    Fun, but not polished.

by Limitbreaker2000 on 6/21/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

I give the first part a C- and the second part an A- I would have expected the first section of the show to be a table read or some skits related to Bob's Burgers. The name of the show certainly sets that expectation. Instead, the first half of the show felt out of left-field and generic standup that felt unfinished. I love the team and almost everything they do. I think they honestly set the bar high and just weren't able to deliver. That on top of the price of the ticket made this experience somewhat disappointing.

    My heart pooped it's pants!!

by Lexbennett on 6/21/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

The cast was everything that I had hoped for and more in person, the creator was awesome too. The stand up in the beginning was a great warm up to the live music! I didn't want it to end!

    Cringe worthy

by Spordo on 6/21/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

So bad. It was as if some of the voice actors/comics are forced to go on tour as part of a contract. Most of their acts were terrible. The music had horrible sound where you couldn't hear the vocals. I love the bobs burgers cartoon, but this live show was terrible.

    Hilarious show, 5/5 Burgers

by Dylorean on 6/21/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

While the opening standup of some voice actors left a little to be desired, the musical revues of the cast was hilarious and insightful.

    Bob's Burgers Live Well Done

by mahler1 on 6/20/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

if you are a fan of Bob's Burgers, it is worth seeing this entertaining show of the voice cast and music of the Burgerman. The voice cast comes out separately to deliver a stand up routine. All were funny, but Kristen Schall's was probably best. Then there were live performances of some of the best songs from Bob's Burgers. There were back up visuals and giant puppets. Definitely a good evening of fun for Bob's Burgers fans.

    Meh

by daughterofolaf on 6/20/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

I am a Bob's Burgers fan but I guess one may have to be a *psycho* fan in order to enjoy this show. Half of the show was (terrible) standup comedy from each of the main stars of the show. It seems clear that standup is not the forte of most of these actors and it seemed like much of the crowd was only laughing because, for example, they were hearing "Tina's" voice coming out of a dude on stage. So, no matter how awful or unfunny his jokes are, the crowd is going to laugh. Once we got past the standup portion we got to the musical portion which was okay but too brief. I think they sang five songs from the show. Additionally I understood that in past shows they did skits and table reads but we got none of that here. I would have traded all of the standup for more songs or skits or table reads. Anyway, it was cool to see the cast but overall it was just a letdown.

The show was very entertaining. I did miss the reading of an episode but songs from the new album performed completely made up for it.

    Not a musical

by Anonymous on 6/20/17Orpheum Theatre - Los Angeles

I was expecting this to be a musical - first half was the voice actors doing stand up but not in character, second half was songs from the show.

    A Fun Event For Fans!

by Melissa90 on 5/15/16The Wiltern - Los Angeles

I purchased tickets for my boyfriend and I, as he is a huge Bob's Burgers fan. There is stand-up from each of the main characters, a live table reading, footage from unfinished episodes, food, alcoholic drinks, the opportunity to take a picture with someone dressed in a Tina costume, and of course lots of overpriced merch to purchase. We got a zip up hoodie that says bobs Burgers Live in the front and a large hamburger on the back for a whopping $75. Because much of the seating is one level you better hope you don't get stuck behind tall people with big heads the way we did (lol). Overall, it was a fun event.

Bobs Burgers was not Bobs Burgers

by BooBearAnt on 5/3/16The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The show was an "all ages" show. There was a bunch of obscene stand up comedy. The language and subject matters were very upsetting. There was very little to do with the show.

    The show was unbelievably funny!!

by JuanSugiPez on 5/2/16The Wiltern - Los Angeles

The show made me laugh so much, my face hurt. The standup was funny and the cast reading was just like we were listening to the show.
