There was a severe shortage of toilet facilities, followed closely by a dearth of concession stands, especially on holes 12-17. The walks between the above mentioned was monumental.
Great experience overall!! But it was hard to find where i can get complimentary folding chair that comes with my trophy ticket. No one seems to know..
While the spectator experience was first class the general parking process was awful. When we arrived at the shopping mall at 10am there was ONE school bus loading spectators. I would estimate that, at that time, there were at least 500 people standing in line waiting for busses.

The tent I reserved was a bit over crowded. It took 45 minutes to get something from the vendors. There were no seats to be found. I think they over booked the Trophy Club.
I felt Medinah was a nice golf course. But, what I did not care for --- was the amenities that were provided there, wasn't enough gift shop clothing, there wasn't enough grand stand seats for the public the walkways were nothing but mud and gravel you would think they would have an asphalt walkway.
I bought the Trophy Club ticket and it was worth it. Thank you for offering this type of ticket. I like going on Thursday because the crowd is not as big yet and I am able to see the game without difficulty. The merchandise store offered a lot of souvenirs for purchase, located centrally. The staff and volunteers were all very pleasant and helpful. I brought my twin grandsons along and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They have just been introduced to playing golf - was at PGA First Tee golf camp this year and now totally immersed with the game. Thank you for the Kids Autograph Zone. See you in Olympia Fields in 2020.
A+ experience. Well coordinated shuttle, concessions open with gates in early AM, hundreds of helpful, well-trained volunteers and a world class facility. Great crowd, relaxed atmosphere and a memorable day at the tournament. Tiger’s 67, Justin Thomas shoots course record 61. Wow! What a great day😀
I have gone to the last 3 BMW Championships that were played in Illinois. 2015, 2017 Conway Farms and 2019 Medinah. These PGA events are one of the most unique sporting events a sports fan can attend. It's very hard to describe. Roars of cheers can be heard from every direction on the course. You get to watch the 70 best golfers display their talent up close. Truly an awesome experience. However, I believe it can be even better! 1. Transportation was ok (Parked at Lot-G). The way people were loaded onto buses could have been way more efficient to get people to and from the parking lot to the course. For one, loading more than 2 buses at a time would have cut down on the waiting in line by half (The loading location probably wasn't ideal). Two, have the people load the bus from back to front to get those buses loaded quicker and on their way. In the end of the day, people want to get to the course and not have to wait in line. 2. Security was average for a sporting event. There could have been a couple more metal detectors to alleviate the early morning rush on Fri, Sat, and Sun. Waited about 15 minutes at the gate those days. 3. Course set up was pretty nice. Concession stands and bathrooms seemed evenly spread out throughout the property. Prices were typical for a sporting event. (~$8 for a burger & ~$8 for a beer). Probably a little higher than most people would like to pay for average quality food. There were plenty of opportunities to sit in grandstands and watch greenside at certain holes for the general public. I do believe there could have been more done to make the experience that much better: 1. More picnic tables around certain concession stands. (The only area with picnic tables was back at the 1st tee box). 2. More video boards that maybe showed a live-feed of the tournament so spectators could see first hand what was going on at other holes. (Again, only video board with live-feed was at 1st tee box). 3. If there was a way to combine both 1 and 2 and place them further out into the course so fans could enjoy some food and watch the tournament live, than that would create a better fan experience. (The next tournament at Medinah, the perfect area for this would be the area between holes 9, 10 and 11. There was only one concession stand there. If you were to place a couple more concessions, add some picnic tables and a video board, you would create another unique experience where fans could eat, drink, watch and enjoy talking to others about what is going on in the tournament.) Can't wait for Olympia Fields next year for the BMW Championship 2020!

The course and layout were beautiful but the concessions areas were absolutely atrocious. Every line I waited in took a minimum of 20 minutes - even just for beverages - one tent ran out of white wine and none of their card machines were working. Another did not know what white wine was and held up bottles until I identified the right one. Everything else seemed impeccably thought out, so this area really stood out as being poorly handled.
Had no problem at all with tickets (parking/entry/Trophy Club) so was able to enjoy the tournament.

No free giveaways this year parking was awful to long of a walk to the venue to not have shuttle service lack of ac space at the owners tent not as comfortable as in the past I have been attending since it was called the western open and it was below the past standards
Medinah is a beautiful course with a perfect layout for spectators. The 9 tee box, 11 green vicinity provide an opportunity to get up close and personal with our favorite golfers. Being 6" from Rory, Rickie, Tige, DJ and countless others was the best part.
Great event awesome golf. The one thing I would suggest is like Lollapalooza have some stations where you can fill a water bottle up. As per usual at golf tournaments that concession lines were long and they're charging like for $6 for water if you had some stations where someone could just fill a water bottle up and make a lot easier and you could just drink some water here and there and not have to deal with the hassle
We had a great day at the tournament. The course was beautiful, and the Trophy Club seats offered great views. It was the first pro tournament my fiancé attended since he was a teenager, and he was saddened to see all the corporate-only seating in all the prime locations. It's too bad everything now is all about corporate greed when it comes to sporting events. There was nothing for vegans to eat outside of potato chips and greasy french fries, and outside food was not permitted. So I went hungry until we left. I don't don't expect organizers to be considerate enough to have options for everyone, but then at least let me bring in granola bars or something.
Spent 8 hours at the beautiful Median Country Club watching the best golfers in the world. Best value for the money. Where else can you get 5 to 10 feet from a professional sports person, and hear their comments? Fans were friendly and respectful. Great time!
Parking and shuttle service flawless, Tournament exciting and course was beautiful.
Disappointed in the lack of leaderboards throughout the course. Of course, price of food was outrageous but expected. General parking well executed but mall parking lot was to far away.
