Really enjoyed the golf tournament and things went as well as they could have with the horrible weather.
Half Hour ride on school bus was terrible!!!!!! Toilet Facilities were limited and hard to find. All other things were fine.
BMW Classic at Aronimink hosted top players will the chance to see amazing pairings. Had tickets to 1899 club. Seats were great, food and drink was ok. Change to early tee off meant we missed many players as they play double tees which was disappointing. Overall good experience just not sure worth the $450 ticket price
The BMW Champioship was a great spectator golf event.
The pricey 1899 Club experience was not good. First, un-air conditioned buses from Expo Center (Lot D) for everyone but a few lucky people--this, regardless of tournament ticket price. Then, to the tiny 1899 Club. A few bar stools at high-tops, no chairs or couches. Outside, no awning; we sat in bleaching seats. Only two TVs, one of which did not come back on after the generator was fixed. Yes, on Thursday the power went out. Thus, no A/C for 30 mins and the refrigerators, naturally, stopped cooling the food. We were encouraged to eat the ice cream before it would have melted. Out on the course, no scoreboards! I know that the BMW...perhaps no Fedex events...are organized by the PGA. Apparently, it was the WGA? I much prefer events with scoreboards and nice tour buses. In fairness, the very small staff of servers was working hard and very welcoming. The food was excellent and had a nice variety. The bar was only beer and wine. C'mon! the 1899 Club should have had a full bar. This was a one-star experience that I doubled to two because of beautiful Aronimink and the star-studded field.
You should not have to pay extra to get good food. And it was 100 degrees and had to pay extra to get out of the heat. Too much of an elitist attitude. But the volunteers were wonderful, very friendly.
Had a wonderful time. Players friendly and enjoyed watching them play!
Waited 1 hour for buses in 90 degrees for 35 minute ride on old school bus with no air or shocks. At course, no misting or water refill stations
Great venue, but the tent that was supposed to keep us cool lost its AC for over 90 minutes. it was 104 Heat index outside and the reason we purchased 9 tickets for my biggest customers (at $450 each) was to provide excellent experience. That was very disappointing and not even close to worth the value
At the time of purchase a big deal was made about Oaks parking. You had to have a parking pass. Upon arrival the pass was never checked and there was plenty of spaces available on Thursday. I arrived at 10am and we waited almost an hour for a bus. Didn’t arrive to golf course until 11 :30 am - missed several tee times. If you’re going to use school buses you need to make sure that they are not working on other runs that morning.
Parking at Oaks horrendous. We stood in line in the heat for almost an hour because there were no buses. Then once the buses arrived they loaded them on at a time. Then to top it off an hour in the heat and now loaded into a hot school bus. Worse transporting at an an event I have ever been to. Once we got to the tournament it was great. Should have been water stations available with the intense heat.
BMW Championship first round Thursday. Although it was very hot we had tickets for the Trophy Tent on #14. Well worth it with the air and food.
Simply incredible experience. Would recommend to anyone only partially interested in golf. Great experience had by all.
The golf course was beautiful and the volunteers were very helpful and friendly. Although there were adequate grandstands for spectators who were willing to pay Corporate Sponsors for those seats, there were not enough grandstands for the general public.
Shuttle worked very well. Attendance at ProAm day was not crowded. So many opportunities to interact with players. Trophy Club was a disappointment. Seating was inadequate- even though there was ample space for additional tables. Not sure the additional cost was worth it. Similarly, size availability in Merchandise store was disappointing. Needed more inventory. Overall experience was very positive, though.
BMW did a great job of keeping ticket holders up to date on tournament information. BMW also created a great accessible viewing for spectators.
Event staff was very friendly. Concession stands and restrooms were Located in key spots. Compared to other golf events I have attended this was right up there. The golfers were polite as always.
The parking lot at Philly Expo was convenient, but our driver did not know the route and we became lost, as we did on the return trip! At the course, we were very disappointed by the very few golfers who came out to practice. Few marshals knew how to get anywhere. 94 degree heat might have encouraged organizers to provide water stations. They did not.
