  • Parking and the shuttles were not well planned.

by DR on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

They had just about everyone park in one garage, and then only had one line to get on the shuttle buses. I pulled in line for parking at 10:00 am, at 11:30 it look like I still had at least an hour to get on a shuttle bus plus the 20 min ride to the course, so I gave up and went home. I would have just walked to the course, but it was a 2 hour walk from the parking garage.

  • Bmw

by MB on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

Who ever planned the transportation should have consulted someone that has handled large crowds. The busing and parking were horrible. The venue was set up very well and run well. The merchandise facility was not prepared for the large flow and lacked enough merchandise.

  • Terrible Parking Situation Friday

by Plumber837 on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

Bought parking for G Lot. Drove around area looking for G Lot asking personal at garage where G lot was located but they didn't know. After a few more laps I found that G Lot is the garage. Paid $20.00 but bar code was never scanned. The line for the buses was unorganized and nearly 1/2 mile long. Could have been much parking arrangement.

  • A truly incredible day that didn't disappoint

    by L. B. on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The golf course was brilliantly prepared and the players didn't disappoint either. It was so much fun to be there and watch it all happen. If there was a down side to the event it was that the stated face mask policy was not enforced, at all. The bus drivers and workers inside the venues all wore masks. The people that ran the event didn't even try to enforce the very clearly posted face mask policy. Also it would have been nice if the event offered wifi inside of the venues. With the thousands of fans using their smart phones constantly the service was slim at best.

  • PGA Trophy Club was a Disappointment

by NJV on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

Trophy Club expectations not met, should have gotten a grounds pass only. On Friday it was very hot and sunny. Trophy Club - no shade anywhere except inside. Outside seating should have been covered in an awning. Inside wasn't any better; very little air, crowded, back entrance wasn't checking tickets, no one had masks on. Have been to other PGA and LPGA tournaments and this venue was the worst. On the good side, parking buses, getting around course was good. 1 star is because of Trophy Club.

  • The course was in great shape!!

by TheWeez on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

The course is very hilly and it was super hot, but as far as the event and how it was handled? Parking was easy, entering the course and Trophy Tent were no issue. Food and drinks are pricey, but you know that going in......I would give Caves and the PGA a 4.5 Stars

  • The production of this year's BMW deserves a bow!

by Spelman Parents on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed my, 1st and hopefully not my last, time at Caves Valley Golf course for the BMW TOURNAMENT. Though the sun showed no favor, the officials and staff were awesome and made every attempt to cater to any and all requests. I will always remember this experience and judge other events I attend by this standard.

  • Worst ever. Last big time sporting event I will ever attend.

by Bruce on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

Two hour drive to get to the G Lot Garage at Owings Mills which I realize is a given and I knew that when I I bought the tickets. But then 45 minutes to get into the garage and then another 45 minutes waiting for a bus. After leaving home before 8:00 AM we got to the course at 11:30. Of course making it worse the heat index was over 100 which obviously no one can do anything about. After walking around for an hour and a half we went to the trophy club which I had paid a lot for - don't remember how much. That place was a nightmare! Wall-to-wall people and not a one wearing a mask even thought the BMW Championship website said masks were required for indoor facilities. I'll be shocked if Baltimore doesn't have a covid spike this week. If the air was working it was not working sufficiently. The line for food had to be a hundred yards long. I waited in line for 15 minutes moving maybe 3 feet so we left. All the trophy club seating was in the sun- so totally useless on a hundred degree day. In fact while we were there there couldn't have been more than 5 of those seats in use. We bought food at a concession stand on the course, watched a few more groups come through and left at 2:30PM. By leaving early getting out was breeze. All I could think about all day was how much more I would have enjoyed it from the comfort of my home on television - and that is where I will enjoy future events. I will admit that at my age (69) my tolerance for hassle is a lot lower than it used to be. But to spend over $400 and drive over 4 hours - wait in lines for an hour and a half to watch 3 hours of golf was certainly not money well spent. As Dr. Phil would say " what were you thinkin!"

  • Parking

by Henry on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 2 out of 5

The parking and shuttle service was ridiculous. Waste of an hour and a half of the tournament due to being poorly organized.

  • Friday around at caves valley

by Nanflem718 on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

Friday around at caves valley turned out to be a lot of fun. I didn’t realize the lines for the shuttle bus would be so long or that it was so far away from the club, but it was all run very efficiently and we had quite an enjoyable day. In spite of the heat and the hills! What a gorgeous course in a well run event!

  • Outstanding day

Beautiful course, quality preparation, friendly and helpful staff. Great golf by the worlds best golfers.

  • So convenient…

by John Cabrera on 8/27/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I love golf and watching live performances. The process of getting the tickets then to the venue was so convenient. The event was great of course or I wouldn’t be there.

  • Caves is beautiful

by Glar on 8/27/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

Course and set up was great, but got trophy room tickets for my parents. The tent had struggles with air conditioning all day until it just died and they lost power….you would think they would move people to other hospitality tents since it was Wednesday practice round, 90+ degrees, and pretty empty. Nope! Heat got to some people, was worried about my parents

  • Amazing day at BMW Champ!

by Marianne on 12/4/19Rating: 5 out of 5

Everything was first class. From getting to the event, entering, watching golf, lots of concessions, and ample seating for general public. So great to be able to bring our kids for free and have them enjoy their first golf tournament. Will be back next year!

  • Nice event

    by B. S. on 8/28/19Medinah Country Club - MedinahRating: 4 out of 5

Frequent shuttle buses got us to and from the off sight parking promptly. The weather for the event was perfect so that made the event even better. I somehow missed information that backpacks were not allowed and had to pay for a locker at the gate to store my SMALL backpack for the day. I do appreciate that lockers were available; a much better option than returning to the car or throwing away belongings that were not allowed. We were able to walk about the course as we desired. We missed a couple BMW owner opportunities (putting area) because we didn't know about them in advance. There is a lot to take in! The owners pavilion was very nice with bleacher seating and food options. I wish there had been water stations available. We did a lot of walking and found it unpleasant to stand in line to purchase water repeatedly through the day. Would recommend a water bottle filling stations so we could refill a bottle that we had purchased earlier in the day. This could reduce waste and lines at the beverage tents.

  • BMW golf

    by J. E. on 8/24/19Medinah Country Club - MedinahRating: 5 out of 5

Everything was handled very professional. ALL of the men and women in the BMW shirts were very helpful no matter what my question. I’m loved the entire day - this was my first ! The course was fantastic and being able to get close to the PGA golfers was awesome !! I look forward to next year and volunteering and spending the entire week !

  • Impressive

by Liz L on 8/23/19Medinah Country Club - MedinahRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time attending a PGA tournament. I am from the Chicagoland area and always wanted to go. When I saw it was at Medinah I immediately ordered tickets. I was impressed how organized it was with the huge crowds and the morning delay due to severe storms. The prices for tickets, food, drinks and merchandise was reasonable . I will attend every year! Staff on grounds and golfers were so friendly and personable. Thank you.
