First Aid and misting stations would have been helpful in that heat. Otherwise, great.

  • Magnificent experience

by FJ on 9/1/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Caves Valley Club was a beautiful venue with spectacular views of The Valley. The golf source itself was perfectly manicured, yet challenging to walk on its hilly terrain. Great workout! We all know the ending, so needless to say the event was a tremendous success.

  • Great time at The BMW

by Joe Murphy on 9/1/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

My friends and I had a blast in the Trophy Club for the BMW Championships. We had great views of numerous holes while also enjoying the large screen and air condition inside. It was a great all around day. Thank you ticketmaster.

  • Golf Heaven

The course and the experience was five star. Caves Valley Golf Course did an outstanding job making the venue fan friendly..Parking and transportation to the event was a breeze. Food and drinks were over the top. The PGA and BMW Championship selected a perfect venue for the second stop in the Fed Ex Cup playoff’s.

  • Awesome first PGA Event

Got close to a lot of top golfers. Course was great and the weather was perfect; cloudy and 84.

  • Exceptional event, poor advertisement placement

by Lynn S on 9/1/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

Golf at its finest, sure to be an instant classic. It’s hard to imagine there ever being a more dramatic finish. One negative- The car parked on the tee box at 17 blocking the view of the golfers from the Trophy Club was an in excusable unforced error.

  • Amazing experience

by SlapButtsSinkPutts on 9/1/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

To begin, this was my first ever PGA tour event. And let me just tell you, it was EPIC. Being 10 feet from the guys that I root for every Sunday had me in awe. Seeing the ball flights, hearing how crisp the iron shots were was unrivaled for me. I truly felt like a little kid the entire day. Every volunteer was outstanding and the atmosphere in general was just magical. Will be attending every PGA event that I can from now on!

  • Poor Bus and Parking Plan

by Ceemonster1 on 8/31/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

Let's start by saying that the golf course and the golf was great. Once on the course it was a good deal of fun. The workers were friendly and the amenities were as good as I could imagine. And the PGA pros put on a fantastic show. They are really good. But the morning parking and bus organization was terrible. There was only one lane to access the parking lot, so that took forever. Then there was one person boarding people onto one single bus at a time and there were hundreds of people waiting in line to board the buses! There were multiple buses ready at times but only one line. It was just so poorly thought out. Between the wait for parking, the wait in line and the bus ride to the we wasted two hours. Thumbs down to the parking and bus organizers. Otherwise things were great.

  • Great time but water needed

by Kristin on 8/31/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

We had a great time and the shuttle buses made it easy to get to the course. It would have been great if there was a water filling station so we could use our reusable water bottles rather than disposables.

  • Great Experience

I always have mixed feelings about attending golf tournaments, well, sporting events in general. It’s nice to see the action up close but you obviously see more on tv so I prefer to attend events early in the week and then watch the later rounds on tv. I play golf so I could spend the entire day at the practice area watching the best players in the world warm up and prepare for their round. I also appreciate golf course architecture and like to attend golf events at prestigious golf clubs where I may never really have an opportunity to play so I enjoy walking the course. This week, BMW Championship, there were only 70 players which was nice but there also seemed to be fewer spectators perhaps due to Covid-19 precautions. The only down side was the parking. As a BMW owner it was nice that they offered BMW owners an early option to purchase a parking pass to park closer. But the link didn’t work for first few days they said it would be live so I missed that perk. The general parking lot was an absolute disaster. We arrived pretty early, about 830am since the first tee times were at 930am. There were probably one thousand people waiting to take the school buses to the event. But with maybe 2-3 people wearing masks that option was out. So we Took an Uber to the event from the general parking lot. Overall it was a great experience.

  • A mixed bag

by Louie on 8/31/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 3 out of 5

I purchased tickets from two vendors: Ticketmaster and BMW website. I tried to upgrade from a Trophy level to the next venue and never received a reply. I tried to obtain a paper ticket as the required movement of an electronic ticket from the purchase site to my computer then to my cellphone and finally to my cellphone wallet was not a trivial exercise. Very frustrating for one with little experience in this area, technology wise. The event itself was exciting. The crowds were large and polite. Walking from the O Lot to the Trophy pavilion was a chore for someone in their mid 70s. Shuttle service in golf carts would have allieved the burden to a considerable degree.

Fantastic job. Well staffed and a enjoyable day at the event Tents/stands well placed for excellent viewing. Hopefully BMW will return

  • Superb

by Katherine on 8/31/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

The only negative was ticketmaster did not give us the parking pass that was part of our package. The valet folks did honor this portion of our package however, this could have created a huge problem for us with the almost 2k we paid for the pair of tickets at the Green Coat Club.

I was very happy with all aspects of tournament especially the golf.

  • BWM Golf at Caves Valley

by Sabbyc on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

First of all, beautiful golf course! Tournament staff friendly and helpful. Hilly terrain, so difficult to walk, but allowed for great viewing areas. Parking and shuttle on Friday was disorganized - stood in line 40 minutes to board the shuttle at the general parking lot at Owings Mills metro, then another 40 to reach the course. Saturday was much better, no line at all for the shuttle. There was very little general grand stand seating, and none of it was covered. With the weather so hot and humid, it was difficult to find seating in the shade if you didn't have corporate connections or an upgraded ticket. We had Trophy Club tickets for Saturday, which was a little better, but still no covered seating outside. At least we could get inside for lunch and cool off a bit. Overall, beautiful venue, exciting competition. Hope the area gets more professional golf tournaments in the future!

  • Not as promised

by Ann on 8/30/21Caves Valley Golf Club - BaltimoreRating: 1 out of 5

It is August and it is Baltimore. Fully expected hot and humid conditions and purchased Trophy Club tickets so that we could have a respite after walking the course. Trophy Club was billed as "climate controlled environment" but unfortunately it was extremely hot and uncomfortable inside, even worse than outside except for the sun. Also, it was VERY crowded, how many tickets did they sell? Or were unticketed people allowed inside? No one asked me for my ticket when I entered and I had to ask someone to provide me with a wrist band to validate my entry. We were forced to leave early because a member of my party was having difficulty with the heat and no where to comfortably sit and cool off. I definitely regret paying for the Trophy Club, we could have saved the money and unpleasantness.
