We’ll organized. From parking to busing to the venue. Easy entry with ticket scanning on my phone. Tournament facilities excellent with plenty of restrooms and concession stands throughout.
I had a great time it was an awesome venue and was very well organized by the PGA, looking forward to seeing another tournament
We walked the whole course. Enjoyed the players. It was very exciting till the end, can’t wait till next year
I walk with a cane, which sometimes can be a problem. Everyone we met at the tournament bent over backwards to help me get around all day. We met so many nice folks, and had a great time.
The event was well run and all the volunteers were super helpful. The big issue was lack of water stations. It was so hot, people were overcome with heat. I’m sure that lack of FREE, easily accessible water added to the problem.
Once there and Seated it was perfect & my partner was delighted. She couldn’t have enjoyed it more. We would have given the highest rating , but we were assigned a parking lot 45 minutes away and dropped off on the opposite side from our seats a 30 minute walk. The Day once there was Perfect!
It was the best golf tournament next to the master’s that I have attended We were treated like gold!! The BMW pavilion was fantastic.
Addison with the BMW golf concierge was personally outstanding in answering every question and providing on target guidance. Owners' pavilion was located in a great place on the course. Only have two issues. First, there should have been more exits open from the Owners' Pavilion to the course. Second, one of the bus drivers driving back to the parking area refused to turn on the air conditioning for about the first ten minutes of the trip.
Wait in bus at parking area too long. At least 20 minutes. Then the driver got lost going to the course. Total time was 1.5 hours. Unacceptable. Spectator access signage n ropes at course confusing on many holes. Many concession stands closed. Food and drink overpriced. PGA should consult with USGA how to do things. USGA much better at hosting tournaments.
I thought the BMW practice day event was well thought out and well run. There was lots of signage, lots of friendly attendants to answer questions, plenty of shuttles and lots of in-site amenities. Two complaints: 1. The caddies didn’t wear the usual name placards across their shoulders so it was difficult to tell who the golfers were. 2. The merchandise was ridiculously expensive. Otherwise, excellent job.
My girlfriend’s son caddied for the Pro Am and we were able walk with the group. Took a break in the Trophy Club and enjoyed the views from there. Took ride share to event. Drop off and pickup were the easiest way to get there and go home.
It's always disappointing to pull into a place that's free parking for anyone else (the Delaware Park Casino), and having to pay for the parking. Same thing happened last year for Caves Valley. There are very nice maps of the course all over the place - how hard would it be to put a "You are Here" star on each of them? Even better would be a paper map with the same diagram as well as yardages. Trying to read the downloaded map on a phone is challenging (the glare, the limited view, having to constantly turn the phone back on, etc.)
Transportation, amenities course all great. Need to get to know course as there are no maps or paper to really find your way around. Once we got our bearings on Day 1 we got to places on Day 2 to see a lot of action: 8 green next to 9 tee and 2 green next to 3 tee. Enjoyed WilmingtonCC immensely.
The course was in excellent condition everybody that work there was very nice very helpful and I hope it comes back to Delawere. I hope the BMW championship comes back to Delawere.

There was the chance of severe weather. They cleard the course Then came back and played. What did you expect from a practice Round. And jimmy i have never gotten involved in reviews but i dont understand your rationale. The course perfect and BMW staff great and helpfull at every turn.
I live 20 miles away and it took 5-1/2 hours of driving , shutting and walking to watch 5 hours of maybe seeing 10 pro golfer and a hundred amateurs. Disappointed isn’t even close. I’m sorry I had write this my only ever review.
First PGA event and could not have been happier! Trophy Club and BMW Club pavilions were a great addition!
The BMW Championship was an outstanding event from the wonderful venue, remarkable golf, very helpful volunteers and great food and beverage. Purchasing the tickets for the event and parking, loading them to Apple Wallet for redemption and then redeeming them was quick and easy. The email reminders to load them to Apple Wallet and the process to do so were very much appreciated. The emails the evening prior to the event with information about tee times and parking were also appreciated.
Caves Valley was beautiful. Golf was great. Volunteers were wonderful. Very well run event. Shuttle service was very efficient. Had en enjoyable day…except My friend was overcharged by the cocktail location just inside the main entrance. Prices were high enough but when he saw the post charge it was higher than the quote. At the time the lady told him she couldn’t give receipts. Sad.
