Awesome Venue, Amazing Band
by Fairweatherconcertgoer on 8/9/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - SnoqualmieRating: 5 out of 5Blues Traveler at the Snoqualmie Casino Mountain View Plaza was amazing. The band was spectacular and the venue was beautiful. It was the perfect backdrop for a concert. For a person who rarely attends concerts, this got me excited to go again. I recommend to all!
INCREDIBLE
by JanoPeru on 8/9/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - SnoqualmieRating: 5 out of 5Blues Traveler is playing at their best since 2004. A MUST SEE in the summer.
Blues Traveler T Snoqualmie
by Snnelk on 8/9/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - SnoqualmieRating: 4 out of 5Both the band and event setting were awesome. I did think it was unfortunate that Blues Traveler only played a 90 minute set, and only one non-descript encore.
Lukas Nelson and Blues Traveler made my summer!
by seattlebluesfan on 8/9/11Snoqualmie Casino-Mountain View Plaza - SnoqualmieRating: 5 out of 5The venue was perfect, the sound mix was spot on, loved their energy and passion for music. Must see!

by Rhinelander on 8/8/11Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 4 out of 5Wonderful show, sounded great performed the good old faves and did a lot of really good covers. I didn't dig the county band that opened for them. County really come on:(
Blues over-Traveled
by greengenes on 8/8/11Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 3 out of 5Band sounded tired and looked exhausted. Long road trip. Popper's voice was good, but lacking his usual range. Saw them in October 2010 and they were much better. Wait for the next trip. They need rest and lots of it.
Blues Traveler @ Villa Montalvo
by RTWGirl on 8/8/11Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 4 out of 5Great band, fantastic venue! The acoustics at the Villa are fantastic and just such a serene setting. Went well with the down-to-earth style of Blues Traveler. Loved the music, particularly the cover for "Imagine." We will definitely be back to the Villa again to hear future shows.
Superb Show!
by MikeKobb on 8/7/11Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 5 out of 5It has been several years since I last saw Blues Traveler, and the last show was a real disappointment due to poor sound at The Fillmore in San Francisco. This show was at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga, a lovely intimate outdoor venue. The night started with a rousing set by the Brodie Stewart Band, playing a short country/rock set with high energy and excellent musicianship. I'm not a country fan in general, but I really enjoyed their set, probably because they were all very good musicians genuinely working hard to entertain the audience. After a short break, Blues Traveler took the stage, and within a few measures, any lingering worry I had after the fiasco at The Fillmore evaporated. The sound was great, crisp and clear, and the band members were all in top form, with John Popper's astonishing virtuosity on the harmonica leading the way. As a bassist myself, I also thoroughly enjoyed the efforts of Tad Kinchla, whose playing was fluid and enjoyable all night, even when his main axe failed in the middle of an extended solo! He switched to a backup instrument within a few measures and continued to absolutely knock the house down. The set list was a mix of tracks from their super-successful "Four", plus many tracks from other efforts. They played for about an hour before wishing us all good night, but that was just a ruse, and they were soon back for another 30 minutes of "encore", for an overall very satisfying set. I left humming a tune and delighted with a great evening's entertainment.
Huge diappointment-- will not go to see them again
by toofewhits on 8/6/11Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 1 out of 5I really like the Blue's Travelers CDs where the mix is generally about 60% singing to 40% instrumental/jamming --- the concert mix was more like 80% jamming to 20% singing -- e.g. the first song ran for 11 minutes and few ran for less than 9 minutes --- the end result is that they covered very few of the songs that made them famous --- and the jamming sessions they did in each song sounded very similar --- seemed like a repeat of the same jam session in every song.
Tired
by heffelfinger on 8/6/11Montalvo - SaratogaRating: 3 out of 5These are great musicians but an essential piece was missing. It's hard to say what was up, but it just felt as though the train had left the station...

4th of July Red Rocks
by BabyJakJak on 7/7/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - MorrisonRating: 4 out of 5It was a superb show. John Popper was a great front man. One could tell that they absolutely LOVE what they do. The show was exceptionally enhanced by the surrounding Denver area fire works. Time well spent!
Ready for a new 4th Venue
by K4review on 7/7/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - MorrisonRating: 1 out of 5This was a forgettable concert. Nothing but a jam session for the band. We left early as did most people. I was surprised at how empty Red Rocks was when we left during the video so I know it wasn't just us who felt this way. We wont be back on the 4th until the venue changes.
Blues Traveler never fails to put on a great show!
by Anonymous on 7/7/11Red Rocks Amphitheatre - MorrisonRating: 5 out of 5I love Red Rocks so much!!! I'm a native to Colorado and have seen numerous shows here. But Blues Traveler on the 4th is always my favorite! I have been to every one since they started this tradition. I think at some point I ought to get a free ticket! Ha! But the staff is always great too. Very friendly!

Very bad concert, terrible sound quality for Red Rocks. It is a shame to invite such "musicians" for the 4-TH of July concert.
