Man this was the top of the ranks awful . First of all most of the songs they played wasn't even theirs .I came to hear blues traveler not every other bands song that happen to have harmonica in it made since the 60s just because you can play one. Also they kept unannounced walking off the stage I ended up leaving a little early ,per the setlist , because it was so aweful.
Show started 30 min late, and ended in 1 hour / played a few of their songs but also filled time with jam sessions w drummer solo, guitar solo. I like Blues Traveler but this show was extremely disappointing. They mentioned it was their final show on this tour, but filling a one hour jam session w solo performances was not what I came for!
Glad I got to see them, been a fan since the 90s. Kind of disappointed they played mostly covers and only like 3 of their originals.
Blues Traveler put on an amazing show at the IP! The crowd's enthusiasm was the perfect setting for this end of tour show. I loved the setlist, and was on my feet the entire show. Highly recommend.
This is the first time seeing them live and I was a little disappointed. Great energy but didn't play some of my favorite songs while playing multiple cover songs, including the last song of the night. A band like Blues Traveler should not have to play multiple covers.
Great venue size. Blues Traveler put on a great show. Everyone was behaving, making this show a great experience.
Saw Blues Traveler @ Ameristar Casino in Kansas City. Band was excellent, what a great jam band. The venue, however, was another story. Sat in the middle on the floor, view was good but the seats were packed so close together that if anyone moved at all their neighbor could feel it. The girl sitting next to me was really having a great time and couldn't help but to crash into me constantly. I got up to dance, too(how can you not?) but tried to stay in my lane as much as possible. Seats are spaced closer than airline seats.
The opening act, Blackbird the Band, was an excellent choice. My only complaint was the hour between them and the headliner. Once they got onstage though, it was another great performance.
The bands were good- the venue was awful. it was 108 degrees which is fine- but our chairs were so skinny that we were sandwiched in between 2 large people who were bulging onto our seats. their arms were sweating onto ours. the venue should have had 600 less chairs crammed in and spread them apart more. everyone around us was complaining.
