    We Left Early

by Mark on 11/17/23Brown County Music Center - Nashville

The venue was fine, no issues there. The opening act was ok. Blues Traveler started ok but then turned into a mess. John Popper would randomly disappear while the band continued. The guitar player would stop playing and stand back by the keyboard player and visibly vape in sight of the audience. As the night went on the sound got worse. It just wasn't crisp and there were episodes of feedback. After about an hour we looked at each other and said I'm done and we left. I wouldn't go see them again.

    Exceeded Expectations

by Aaron on 11/16/23Tannahill's Tavern and Music Hall - Fort Worth

Was expecting a good nostalgic show, but between the energy and the venue, it was an evening that exceeded my expectations and would see them again in a heart beat.

    Blown Away

Been seeing Blues Ttavels since Hoard Fest in early 90s. They still got it such a fun show.

Great show and much love for fans.

    by Kellybean on 11/15/23

The man just lost his dad and still came to Fort Worth to put on a great show. Me and my son got to stand right in front. Finally seeing Popper in person and getting to look at my son's facial expressions throughout the show made this the most memorable show I've ever experienced. ( Corbins first concert ever ) Popper threw him a harmonica and he fell asleep with that and a drum stick in his hands on the way home. John, your hands trembled as you sang that song for your father, it was beautiful.

    Bad concert

by Boogie on 11/14/23Brown County Music Center - Nashville

They started out with their best song and it went downhill from there! They only played for about 1 1/2 hrs. Too much individual play which bad bands do to take up time. Wanted more blues!!!

    Lots of technical issues.

by Jim on 11/14/23Brown County Music Center - Nashville

We were really looking forward to the show. It was canceled in April and rescheduled for November. I have been listening to them for 30 years. There were so many tech difficulties (seemed like two that lasted a total of 20 minutes on barely a 1 hr and 20 minute show). It pretty much ruined the show. I thought for sure they would crank out a few more songs to make up for the screw ups but no dice.

1/2star would have been more appropriate

by CD on 11/12/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

We came from very far to see them play at Rialto and there's nothing else to say either then they sucked live(especially vocals),really poor performance ( seen lots of bands performances so I can compare) ,writing this review to help others not to waste money and time for something you are thinking will be fun and instead it's a waste of a good time ...really really disappointed . it was like watching kids practice Studio work I still love, maybe cause they can take the bad stuff out and only leave the good in.

    Disappointing at best.

by HDRider on 11/11/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

First time exposure to Blues Traveler left me and my wife disappointed. Reading up on them, their pedigree seemed to indicate this would be something we would like, how wrong we were. The focal point of the group seemed to be the lead singer playing harmonica, or mouth harp. That should say enough. Lead and bass guitars were bit players at best. I kept listening for the something distinct that would grab me and shake me out of my funk, but the only guitar playing of note was from a guest performer that was on for too few songs. The bass guitar was inaudible for most of the performance, even his long solo left me wishing it would end. There were many faithful followers in the crowd and it seemed a little mind altering enhancements went a long way. The concert ended abruptly with no encore, they just said they were done. Wish they had made that decision 10 minutes into the show. For the devout followers, and there were quite a few, I hope you enjoyed the show.

by Dj on 11/11/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

I've never seen the Blues Traveler's, I bought the tickets for my boyfriend who always speaks so highly of them and never misses a concert. I was totally amazed by them and the venue. Thank you for an amazing experience

    Crowd Control

by KT on 11/11/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

Blue’s Traveler did not disappoint!! However, the live experience and how this venue handled the crowd was subpar. There was three females who chose to stand and dance from the backup singer until the end of the night. They moved in out of a three row radius until they continued to get kicked out of seats that weren’t theirs. Danced in the aisle and rushed the stage as did numerous other audience members. Why would you pay for great seats where you can’t see or where people pay for lesser seats to rush the stage and stand in the aisle??? This was not handled at all by the venue as it should have been. There appeared to be someone in a suit that may have said something to one or two people, but stood the entire night to the left of the stage where the biggest offenders put on their own show. He even walked past them while they completely blocked the aisle and said nothing. This was not a sold out show and the crowd should have been easily managed. I understand that it is a concert and that the audience stands and dances at the bands biggest hits, but not an entire show with zero regard for the people behind them. In addition, the people behind us were also standing and I had a drink dumped down my back. Not again, not worth paying that much money and not being able to see/enjoy the concert. I have been there before and things were handled much better. It is not up to the wonderful volunteer ushers to police the the inconsiderate concert goers.

These men did a fine job

by Tom West on 11/11/23Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

I was in town and happened to catch this musical performance from these fine gentlemen. The five man musical group provided a nice evening of rousing blues & rock musical selections to entertain the audience. I'm not a fan of in person musical performances, and probably won't go to another one, but this was certainly convenient and that is why I went.

    Disappointed

by Cat on 10/30/23The Capitol Theatre - Port Chester

I had seen Blues Traveler last year at the Capitol and they were awesome! This year, not so much. They went on late and then John Popper took two extended breaks during the concert. The band covered for him by playing instrumentals for what seemed like an eternity. In reality, it was probably approximately 20 minutes each break. We paid to see a full concert, not elevator music to pacify fans while the lead singer is off doing who knows what for 40 minutes. Not very professional. Many people left early. I honestly thought we should have gotten money back for the show.

    best show

by tgules on 10/29/23The Capitol Theatre - Port Chester

blues traveler is a great band i would compare them to the original allman brothers band. i am 73 yrs old so i have seen almost all the great bands from the mid sixties on go see blues traveler that being said the capital theater in port chester used to be a great venue for the show it still is everything else is not so good. i understand in these times things have to be done but the cap has an over abundance of people telling you what to do. the most importnat thing at the capital is alcohol they want you to drink.................go see blues traveler

    Too loud to be enjoyed

by Dave on 10/28/23The Santander Performing Arts Center - Reading

I am a huge Blues Traveler fan and was really excited to see them in Reading. Unfortunately the band seemed to have all of the speakers and volume settings set up for playing an outside venue- not the small Santander Performing Arts center. Maybe I’m just getting old but the volume was literally painful. We had to leave. The volume they played at, in my opinion, is not required to enjoy a band of such immense talent. Hoping to catch them again- either outdoors or with some serious ear protection.

    Seats were great

    by Mma1966 on 10/26/23

Seats were great John Popper and company are top notch musicians. Very talented. People need to realize these guys age is starting to show. All performers experience this. Consider yourself fortunate to have seen them in person!
