About

Amble are Robbie Cunningham, Oisin McCaffrey and Ross Mc Nerney, a 3-piece ensemble of songwriters hailing from the Midlands and West of Ireland.

The unique perspective of three individual songwriters creates a peerless body of work - built on the now familiar, ruminative observations on the world and more fitting to the Amble journey - the stories unfolding each day within it.

  • An Excellent Evening Experience

    by Dave_VA on 9/11/25The Atlantis - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

As someone who did not have much experience with folk music coming into the concert, I was pleasantly surprised with Amble and their music. They were great at connecting with the audience and making everyone feel at home. I enjoyed learning about their background and the group had excellent cohesion with each other. The music throughout the night was vibrant, fun, romantic and soothing. It turned out to be a great date night activity. I will certainly be adding some of Amble's music to my playlist and would happily go to another one of their concerts if they are touring in a city near me!

  • Amble was amazing!

This trio of lads is amazing. Robbie on guitar & lead vocals has one of the most incredible voices in music, Ross's melodies are second to none and he plays his instruments beautifully, and Oisin has a gift for songwriting that the other two bring to life. 10/10!

  • Beautiful night

The show was absolutely amazing. They are amazing musicians. The lead singers voice is just incredible. The way all 3 voices harmonize is beautiful. I love a good banjo and now I also love a good mandolin. So much energy and it was wonderful hearing the crowd sing along with the band. Will definitely see them again.

  • A really good band in a small venue

by Bill on 5/20/25The Opera House - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act a local Toronto guy named Dom Louis, did a good job getting things started. The wait between his set and when Amble started was kind of a long time. But once Amble came on, they did a great job. Told some good stories behind the songs, and you could tell how much they were enjoying themselves, especially when the crowd sang along with them. It was made even better by the small size of the venue. I'd highly recommend them.

  • Unreal

Brilliant gig. Too much chit chat in the background but that tends to happen when you gather that many Irish people in one area.

They’re awesome live. I love that they had a preamble before playing each song telling us how they wrote it
