Disney Presents The Lion King (Touring) Tickets

The show was an amazing display of theatre, music and creativity. It was exciting to see scenes from the original movie being recreated with such vibrant colors and music. I especially loved the parts with the hyenas. It was unexpectedly (but pleasantly) long, and ran for ~ 2 hours. To be a bit critical, maybe the actor playing timon should wear black instead of green? Green felt a bit too bright. Moreover, the beginning of the second half seemed slow, with many parts that I couldn't recognize from the original movie.

The whole show was amazing. Well worth the ticket price.

The Lion King was one of the best shows we have seen. Everything was first class! If you havent seen it I highly recommend it!!

The cast did an amazing job. Costumes were breathtaking. Music, particularly the percussion, was top notch.

I’ve seen The Lion King performance at other venues, and the DPAC production was very disappointing. The sound quality was horrible. It seems there was no sound/mic check prior to the 5/24/24 8:00pm show. I purchased very good center stage seats, only to be disappointed.

The show was amazing! It is hard to find the words to explain how awesome this show is. We loved every minute from start to finish. We will definitely see this again if given the chance.

This was the best drama performance I have ever seen. They put on a show! The graphics and props were amazing. I waited for many years to see this because I didn’t want to travel all the way to New York to experience it. It was totally worth the wait!

Once again an amazing show of the Lion King. This time I brought my daughter and getting to watch her experience the puppetry and songs she knows made it worth every penny!! Will always buy tickets to this show

I had purchased these tickets as a gift for my sister-in-law, friend and Soror and really wanted the evening to be special. DPAC contacted us everyday for a week updating us on what to expect: from the traffic report to what we needed to bring and couldn't. We arrived (about 5pm for a 7:30 show) early to beat the traffic and we were content to sit outside until 6:30 when the doors would opened. But it was threatening rain and one of the attendants from DPAC came out and ushered us inside to keep us from getting wet and told us we could stay there until the show started. WHAT A GIFT. When inside, we were treated like VIP's. Concessions and bathrooms were available to us and we were able to have our tickets scanned from where we sat. It was a GREAT night to have planned to come, we all met friends we had not seen in years and the play Lion King was great. The costumes, dancing and storyline made it entertaining especially for the fourteen-year-old we brought with us. I had purchased excellent seats (Orchestra, section 1, row D, seats 132-135) so you know our view was spectacular. Outstanding actors and actresses; kept us on the edge of our seats. My husband commented on the spaciousness and legroom in the rows as compared to the venues we had attended in New York and Richmond. Thank you for a GREAT experience.

The performers did a fantastic job from what I could see and the show appeared to have beautiful art. However, it was extremely hot in the theater and I couldn't see majority of the show due to the male seated infront of me sitting in a way that didn't allow me to see the performers without leaning into my neighbors seat and tilting my head and neck which grew tired after 30 minutes note the show was for over 2hrs. It was an uncomfortable experience and way too long to be seated in an area where my view was obstructed. Additionally, the amount of money I paid for my tickets was not worth the experience. Furthermore, I verified if the seats selected for me would allow me to view the show and I was mislead. I was told that all seats within the DPAC theater in NC would not be a challenge for any attendee to view the show. It was my first time visiting DPAC and my first time seeing The Lion King on Broadway. Due to the terrible experience, my family and I encountered it will be our last to visit the theater or to attempt to see the Lion King on Broadway again. Also, the family who sat next to me felt the same way. Sometimes it's not worth filling a room to the capacity with the understanding that everyone would be able to see to enjoy the show. The tickets should not be sold for the top balcony. The seat sales should stop at a certain section of the theater or the seats should be priced at a significantly lower rate due to not being able to view the show. The total experience was a waste of time, money, and was uncomfortable. We sat in section 10 area P balcony seat 210 and 209 which was the top of the ceiling of the theater while being in the last row.

Lion King is truly an amazing show! DPAC staff is always helpful and kind. Was concerned about parking because of a Bulls game but had no trouble at all.

This is my second time seeing The Lion King, and the performance didn’t disappoint. Love the live animation via the realistic costumes. Enough cannot be said as to the actors and their ability to disappear right in front of your eyes as they bring the characters to life. The music is phenomenal and the performers…outstanding!

It was simply amazing!!!! Loved every minute of it, enjoyed the music. The tickets were expensive but the charges thru tick-master were even more, wish it would be a little cheaper so it was possible to enjoy more shows

We didn’t have any expectations for the lion King. However, we were blown away with everything! The music was the pinnacle then the clothing, then the acting then the storyline. What was true exceptional and the best part was the opening of the show the female lead who played Rafiki Absolutely exceptional! We will definitely will see it again!

Great production and fantastic talent - especially from the children! Loved that no pictures or videos were allowed because there was no disruption and we loved it!

The best live musical I have ever seen and the most creative. I loved it and I am not one for superlatives.
