Simply spectacular. From the actors to the production crew, everything about this show is was beyond expectation. LOVE IT!!!
From the first note to the last, it's breathtaking.
Phenomenal performance from the costumes, talented actors, technical enhancements and music. Engaging the audience from the moment the show began and continuing to have characters coming the isle added to the experience for the entire audience!
This show is phenomenal! What they are able to do as actors inside those large scale animals is amazing. Everyone’s voices are incredible. Special acknowledgement to the amazing kids that played young Simba and Nala and Rafiki- her voice was insane! My kids ages 10-18 all loved it!
The Lion King show was absolutely incredible. The cast is extremely talented, combined with amazing costume, effects, and music. I wouldn’t recommend the venue (The Orpheum Theater) as the seats provided such little legroom that your knees touched the back of the seat before you. After 3 hours of sitting in a position that you couldn’t move, our legs were definitely in pain. BUT the show was exceptional and will be one that will be remembered for a long time. I believed the actors were the actual characters and I had an emotional response to the story…even though I knew what was going to happen. To have such talent that can act, dance, and sing at this caliber was a joy to watch. Highly recommend!
The presentation of The Lion King was amazing! The costumes were amazing and so true to the actual animals. I would highly recommend seeing this production.
This is my second time attending the Lion King. It was as amazing as before
I absolutely loved experiencing The Lion King as I felt like I had traveled to Africa. The music, lighting, makeup, masks and costumes enlightened my senses of hearing, sight, and movement! Every person of the cast was essential and so talented!! It was amazing!
I loved the lion king the musical. The use of the props and masks were amazing.
If there is one. I've experienced a lot of shows - nothing comparable. The most incredible moment? The very last moment of the show when the entire auditorium spontaneously exploded and roared with appreciation. I've never experienced that at that level! Stunning
I saw Lion King the first time I said if It comes back I’m going. The show is amazing! The puppetry of the animals just beautiful! One thing f the best show I’ve seen
This is the sixth version of THE LION KING that we've seen and this may be the best. Energetic actors with great voices and imaginative staging. Special praise for the young Samba and the theatrical Scar--and the big, happy audience!
We were a family of 6, ages 6-69 It renewed my daughters interest in musicals. The 6 yr old got all the jokes And everyone loved it Sound was difficult at times. We were in DD row Costumes were gorgeous Bathroom challenges as always Fabulous family experience
This was an amazing adaptation of the famous story of the Lion King! The costumes, the vocals, the instruments, the cast, the talent, the lighting, the sound.. Just amazing experience!! I took my 11-year-old who is just starting to enjoy theater and was static by the whole thing! Well worth the driving (we live 2 hours away)!! Just absolutely spectacular!
I have waited for years to see Broadway’s Lion King. It did not disappoint! From the actors, singers, costumes, and production crew, all did an amazing job. A must see for everyone!
Great story. Fabulous staging and costumes. It was a wonderful theater experience.
Amazing energy and creativity. Different than the last presentation I went to about 15 years ago
Another big hit! My daughter and I really enjoyed seeing this again! All of it was excellent - wonderful performance by all actors, great talent, puppetry, and costumes were top-notch. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed, but it still exceeded my expectations. Any time this comes to MN, we plan on seeing it.
We love Disney's The Lion King. We have seen it twice before and loved it each time. This time, though, it just wasn't the same. The sound quality was poor at the Orpheum Theater, so there were dialogues that we could not hear and song lyrics we could not make out. Some of the vocalists were not as strong as others, and the female lion characters did not have as prominent a place as I remember. It was a good show, but it could have used some polish and better sound in/from the Orpheum Theater.
This is the fourth time I have seen “The Lion King” Broadway show. It never fails to impress me.
