Hadestown (Touring) Tickets

My daughter and I had the best time. If you love Jazzy “Cajun” mythology, Hadestown delivers! The actors / singers / dancers and musicians are amazing. The set design is great for any seat to have a spectacular view of the action. NO DOUBT will COME IN when you experience WAY DOWN HADESTOWN!!

Great music great venue great entertainment We have a great time as a family at the Orpheum theatre in Memphis TN.

Lots of fantastic songs (it is a musical!) that I truly enjoyed but there wasn’t a lot of action/acting. Some choreography for some of the songs but with the same set/scenery and listening to songs, my attention wandered. Overall plot was good.

AMAZING! Everyone did their absolute best and I couldn’t have wished for more! The stage lighting was immaculate! Setting the stage with such incredible atmosphere!! I would highly recommend seeing this to anyone and everyone!

Hadestown at the Memphis orpheum was an amazing show. I preferred it over the original cast recording.

I've listened to the soundtrack to this show a ton and was thrilled to see the tour was coming within driving distance so I could finally see it live. I was worried that the touring cast would be too different to truly enjoy the show, but they were simply incredible! All of the cast members were truly captivating and talented. Each putting their own spin on the characters that worked well. The set design and lighting were mind blowing! And lets not forget the musicians who played on stage! The trombonist was especially impressive! When I wasn't tearing up from the sheer beauty of the show, I was smiling from ear to ear because od the joy it brought me to finally see this show live. It was by far the best Broadway show I've ever seen (and I'm a season ticket holder at the Fox in STL, so at this point, I've seen a LOT.) Don't hesitate! Go see this show! It is absolutely worth it.

I can’t think of a better way to come back to seeing musical theatre after 2 years away than this production of Hadestown. The cast was phenomenal, I couldn’t keep my eyes off of them and was enthralled from beginning to end.

The touring company hit this one out of the park! We weren't really sure what to expect from this show, and were more than pleasantly surprised at how strong the emotional the message was, and THIS modern retelling of a Greek tragedy really came across well. The Memphis Orpheum is a wonderful venue and there's hardly a bad seat in the house, for ANY show.

My daughter loved the show. I was not so impressed. If you like musicals and watching people dance around then you’ll probably like this :). It was too all over the place for me though. I’m just not into musicals. It was hard to understand the narrator as well. I know lots of people that loved this show though. It’s not my thing so don’t take this review personally ha!

I absolutely loved this musical! The actors are immensely talented. The story is easy to follow, even if you’re unfamiliar with Greek mythology. The story has been modernized, which makes it more relevant to today’s society. The characters are likable, and the actors did very well engaging with the audience. The person playing Hermes was PHENOMENAL, and, in my opinion, was the best one of the bunch, though they all did a wonderful job. I also liked that the Orpheum Theater makes people wear masks properly so we can all enjoy these events as safely as possible. I highly recommend this play to anyone mature enough to handle the concepts of hell, death, mythology, etc. I would definitely pay to see it again in the future.

I usually find national tours to be lesser in quality than actual Broadway shows, but this was amazing. The singing was marvelous, the acting great and the play itself was simply fantastic. My wife wanted to see it again immediately. Fully recommend!

Honestly one of the greatest shows I have ever seen!! The creative use of the stage, the props, the dancing, the singing and the story - it all had me mesmerized!!

We could not attend our original showing because of inclement weather. Ticketmaster allowed us to exchange our tickets for a later showing. The musical was outstanding.

I’m sure it was great but an ice storm over Memphis and power outages made us skip the show.

Far and away, ‘Hadestown’ exceeded my expectations. Historically, I knew that the musical had won several Tonys but knew little about the story. The cast and crew were AMAZING! The music made you want to dance! Dare I say, this tour was better than my viewing of ‘Hamilton’ this year!

Truly enjoyed this show! The performers was amazing! Their talent was inspiring and it was easy to see their passion for their craft! Awesome! Awesome show!

This was both our first live theater performance since the pandemic, as well as our first visit to the Orpheum since moving to Memphis. It was an awesome experience. A wonderful take on a Greek classic with awesome performances and a fantastic, elaborate set. How appropriate to be watching Orpheus in the Orpheum!

Going to see Hadestown in Dallas was singlehandedly the greatest experience i have ever been through. The venue was very health friendly, the tickets were easily accessible, and the show was incredible. This was a dream of mine, and I am still, days later, shocked that i got the opportunity to see this.
