A Night That I'll Never Forget!

by Angel on 5/23/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - Greensboro

We've all read the book, and have even seen the movie, but experiencing the PLAY is a whole another ballgame. The audience and I were so moved and speechless, that there were times it was so quiet, you could hear a pin drop, and people (such as myself) sniffling and crying... THAT is the kind of effects THIS play has on people....

    Great performance!

by Carolyn on 5/22/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - Greensboro

I thoroughly enjoyed the production of 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' starring Richard Thomas. I have been a fan of Richard Thomas since his days on 'The Waltons' and was very grateful for the opportunity to see him so close to home.

    An Incomparable Mockingbird

by BJ on 5/22/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - Greensboro

Richard Thomas was extraordinary in Aaron Sorkin's socially conscious adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird. He made me laugh, cry, and think about the country I love then and now. The performances of Scout and Calpurnia also touched my heart. What a lovely moment to see the original Scout as Mrs. Dubose! She was grand. The minimal set allowed a fluidity of action between past and present. Aaron Sorkin continues to amaze us with humor, sarcasm, intellect, and great wisdom.

From the seats in the Orchestra right section to the staff to the amazing performance of Richard Thomas and the rest of the cast, we will not forget this production of to kill a Mockingbird. My daughter, husband and I loved it. The comedic effect was the icing on the cake.

    Excellent Production.

by Happy on 5/22/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - Greensboro

The National Touring production of “To Kill a Mockingbird” with Richard Thomas is excellent in every way. This could have easily been the original Broadway production. The cast was top notch and the entire production was superb especially Mr. Thomas.

    Brilliant Storytelling

by AKFlora on 5/22/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - Greensboro

Entertaining throughout, it seemed to go by quickly. There was an excellent blend of comedy and drama to tell a very serious story. I would see it again.

    Best show we have seen.

by Wolfiepooh on 5/22/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - Greensboro

Took my girlfriend to see it for her birthday. She is a huge fan of The Waltons so having Richard Thomas playing Atticus Finch was an added bonus. We both loved it and the entire cast was amazing.
