    Awful!

by Disappointed mum on 4/10/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

40 mins show complete with cardboard cutouts for 85$+!! Run and don’t waste your money!

    Underwhelming

by Alex on 4/10/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

I found the show to be very short in comparison to a show we attended last year by the same company. The show was really 45 minutes and then 10 minutes of throwing giant balloons around. Seemed like a rushed production.

    Really Amazed!

by Erin on 4/8/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

Came into this thinking not much- just something nice to do for your kids. You hardly notice the puppeteers. The main topic was really deep- sibling admiration, sibling annoyance. And it was addressed so well! But the connection with the adult characters was really touching as a parent!! Surprised they went for the realism. THEN SUDDENLY there are bubbles and balloons bouncing through the audience- AMAZING!! A toddler’s rave!! It was incredible.

    Cute but not worth it

by Steve on 4/7/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The show is good. The puppets are cool and they do a good job. It is just way too short for how much it costs. It's about 45 minutes at the most. I felt bad because parents running bit late got there for about 20 minutes of remaining show time. Not worth the cost for a crazy short show.

    Bluey was a big hit!

by J. Brown on 4/6/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

My husband and I attended with our 3.5 year old son and he had a blast! The theater is beautiful. We had great seats. All employees were kind and helpful. The show was the perfect length for the age group attending. We loved the interactive parts. The price was not too crazy expensive! We paid for parking beforehand and that made it so easy and convenient. We all loved this show!

    Good until the end

by Aimee B on 4/4/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Our toddler had a fantastic time, until the very end. They threw balls and blew bubbles from the stage at the end of the show for people in the main floor, but nothing made it to the balcony, where we were sitting for the show. Our toddler was so bummed she just kept saying "that's not fair"thru her tears. She still loves Bluey, the cartoon, but wasn't a fan of "stage Bluey"after that.

    Too many people controlling puppets

by Kita on 4/4/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I didn’t like how it was so many people on each puppet. This is not what we were expecting. How come the people can’t dress up as the characters? The kids could see someone moving the legs and arms. First show we did not enjoy.

    Disappointed

by MidwestMom on 4/3/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The two things that I find most endearing about Bluey are that their parents (especially dad) drop what they’re doing to play with the kids and Bluey and Bongo rarely argue. Yet, the play was about Bandet wanting to be on his phone and not play and Bluey and Bingo not getting along. There was no humor in it at all. It seemed very opposite of Bluey. Additionally, I don’t understand why they were puppets rather than people dressed up like them. That doesn’t seem very “live.” Lastly, this doesn’t have to do with the play but rather the sale of these lights that turn. My son and I have light sensitivity and I’m sore many others do. We weren’t able to enjoy the play with these lights in our line of vision. Really suggest not selling those at plays!

    Good show, but short

by Garrching on 4/3/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

We were all excited for the show. We got there right on time, and thankfully the show started a little late which let us get to our seats before starting, which was great. Then the show was great as well. When we thought intermission would be coming, we quickly began to see that the show was actually ending. The ending was fun, with some crowd interaction, but only a 45 minute show was a bummer. What they did was great, but I think the experience was cut short.

    Seen better

by Re on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

This could have been better. We went and seen trolls a couple years ago and that was about 2 hours long. Bluey wasn’t even 45 min long and we drove over an hour to get there. Plus you could see the people behind the characters. I was kinda disappointed in it. My girls had fun, but I think it could have been better

    Underwhelming

by Ginger on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Unfortunately this show was not what I expected especially for the price! The show was very short and it was very difficult to hear the characters. After the show they played Keepy Uppy with the audience but only on the floor seats. We were in the gallery and my kids left crying because they wanted to play too! The only good part of the experience was the theater staff and parking!

    Not worth it.

by Tiffany F. on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Show was only 45mins long. Merchandise were things you could buy from the store or Amazon for much cheaper aside from the light up spinner toy.

    Very Good…but

by GMA on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

Good but was a little too short for ticket price. Really good job making puppets work. Probably need a few more employees so they could do longer performance. Im sure it was exhausting for them. Also could have done better job prepping children to participate. And maybe do the Mom, Dad Bingo, Bluey shout outs a couple more times. The balls and bubbles were Fun for those who got to touch them. The others cried because they didnt get to touch a ball. So i am not sure balls equalled good ending. Maybe just more bubbles from more locations. What the workers did was very well done with excellent enthusiasm.

    Awesome show!

    Skip it

by JJ on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

We’ve been to a lot of kid theatrical shows. This one is probably the worst. Story line is meh, the puppetry subpar. There were 2 puppeteers per character and they were far too visually prominent and for not much bang.

    Not what I thought

by Ashley on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

I’m a little disappointed. First of all tickets were expensive. And the show was supposed to be 50 minutes. It was not. It started late and still wasn’t 50 minutes. AND to top it off when I went to buy my daughter the light toy, they sold out. So my poor 2 year old had to watch all these other kids with cool lights and wanted one. They should have had enough for all kids.

    Could’ve Been Longer

by Bluey Fan on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

The show and experience as a whole was great. My 3yr old son stayed engaged because Bluey is one of his favorite shows. I just wasn’t expecting it to be so short. We expected it to be at least 1-1 1/2 hours long. It was still a good show and fun.

Fun for the kids—don’t forget the kids are the focus

by B. Quackie on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

My kids and I enjoyed the show; it was like watching an episode at home. People are complaining about the show’s length (about 50 minutes), but you can’t hold the attention of a theater of kids much longer than that, so I was fine with it. We missed out on the Keepy Uppy game at the end because we were in the balcony, but it looked like fun. The people controlling the characters sort of disappeared as the show went on, and I appreciated how they were able to maintain the gestures of the characters as if it was the cartoon.

    just okay

by Mopsey on 4/2/24Fox Theatre Detroit - Detroit

We have taken our grandchildren to many shows for children. This show was very short (50 minutes). We had floor seats and were at the mid-section. For the first part of the show, we had no idea what the storyline was because we could not hear. Many people in front of us held their children up to see which blocked our granddaughter's view. Many of the parents had purchased the light swirl which their childen were holding up and moving around. That was very distracting. There were only 4 characters - we were looking for more characters. In the lobby, we could have bought over priced items, but there were no characters (live or cardboard) to take pictures with. I will not recommend this show to anyone.
