Kids enjoyed but disappointing for the money

by Goldiems16 on 4/30/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

First of all, the show was 40 minutes or less. And half of it was them dancing. Very disappointing for the money paid. When the show ended, we thought it would be intermission, but no, the show was done. The stories were funny but wish there had been more, especially the more notable ones that generate laughter from the audience. I’m glad my kids were young enough to not care but we were very disappointed for what we invested in the show (tickets, travel, parking, etc) vs what we received.

    Bluey DPAC

by 919 gang on 4/30/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I thought is was okay. The show was short less than 1 hour. The game at the end of the show with the audience improved my opinion of the show.

Great show for young and old Children alike.

by Hans on 4/30/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Really appreciated the mix of comedy and life lesson being taught, referenced it the rest of the weekend with the kids. Biggest grins and laughs I have seen from them. Length perfect for children's attention span. Would go see again next year.

It was ok. Don't buy balcony tickets.

    by Disappointed on 4/29/24

The show itself is ok. The character puppets look poorly made (don't look as cute as even the stuffed toys sold in stores). Kids will like it, coz it's Bluey. Except, at the end all the kids in the balcony seats had the saddest expressions of being left out. Coz the organizers released giant balloons for keepy uppy only on the ground level. All other kids just had to watch as other kids played. So at the end all the kids on our level left sadly asking why they didn't get to play keepy uppy. Would have been easy enough to release a few balloons on balcony level even if they ended up down below eventually. A little overtly preachy, which is not like the TV show. The TV show does that very subtly.

    Very engaging super fun!

by Crystal on 4/29/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

The puppeteers did a fantastic job and I didn't know what the show could look like but they did their thing! If you were debating on whether or not to go just go it's 50 minutes but your kids will love it!

Show is only 45 mins…would have been nice to have more kid activities for everyone!

    Very cute but too short

by Mamaofdrama on 4/29/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

It was an extremely cute show but only lasted about 45 min. Not worth the price of the tickets. And the merchandise was way overpriced!

    Not worth the $$$

by MLM07 on 4/28/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

We thought these were going to be people in the costumes, they were giant puppets. The people wore bright neon jumpsuits like they didn’t even try to hide that they were manning the puppets. It was less than 1 hour for the entire show. Definitely not worth the over $200 price for 3 tickets! That’s not even counting the outrageous cost of snacks and a bluey toy/plush.

    Cute but not great

by Suz on 4/28/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

It was cute but not very long or really worth the money. It was word for word an episode of bluey so we were a little disappointed

Great-granddaughter had an amazing time. Loved the venue.Packed, but still not crowded.Hope to do it again.Plenty of parking, easy in and out.Sumitting the reveiw seems to be a little more than needed.A review is a person's thoughts. Why a character minimum?

    Such a Disappointing Show

by Grandson is a Bluey Fanatic on 4/28/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

My grandson is such a huge Bluey fan so driving 90 mins from Charlotte was no problem. We also purchased $100 tickets so he could have the best experience with his beloved Bluey. My husband and I were blown away when we saw these human size puppets with people(up to 2 persons) behind these puppets was just weird. The entire show(which lasted less than 40 mins) was just subpar. I do not recommend this show until they make some significant upgrades to the show itself and they invest in even getting characters in a costume so they can make this show seem more authentic.

    Show was so cute but..

by Blueymomma on 4/28/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

The show was extremely cute and very interactive. I believe for the cost of tickets and hassle to get parking and get into the event the show should be a little longer. Also, when playing keepy uppy with the crowd I would ensure the balloons get to the middle/ back seats the kids were eagerly waiting and none came over.

    Bluey is the best

by Glammangirls on 4/28/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

Bluey show was fabulous. My granddaughters were so happy and sat through the entire show without looking away. They had a wonderful time. Great job crew!

    Great for all ages

by Charzard on 4/10/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

I took my 16 month old and we had an amazing time! The 50 minute show was just long enough that kids were interested before getting too bored. The characters asked for some audience interaction and so many of the adults joined in! Keepy Uppy was the highlight of it all! Balloons and bubbles galore!!

    Great fun

    by GhettoTech9000 on 4/10/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

This was a lot of fun for both my 9 and 2 year old girls (both huge Bluey fans). My only complaint is that it feels a bit too expensive for what it is and seemed a little short.

My daughter(6yrs old) really enjoyed the show however, thought it was a bit short. (50min). I agree for the price.

Not what I expected. The best part was the balloons at the end.

    too short, bad photo

by Cristiane on 4/10/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

It was too short, less than one hour; it started more than five minutes late; the kids didn't get a chance to play in the end; and souvenirs were SUPER expensive (out of this world). Additionally, the photograph was really bad, and the team managing the characters confused the presentation.
