Virginia-based rapper Pusha T, who came to fame during his lengthy run with his brother Gene "No Malice" Thornton in the acclaimed duo Clipse, released his first solo album for Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint in 2013, and backed it with select concert dates. Dubbed My Name is My Name, the album solidified Pusha T's (whose real name is Terrance Thornton) reputation as one of hip hop's most important names, and hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. As with his work with Clipse, Pusha T's solo work pushes hip hop's creative envelope while still keeping a foot in the pop realm. Fans with tickets to see Pusha T on tour should expect a minimum of frills -- a hype man and a DJ typically fill out his crew. He's got the intense charisma -- and the rhymes -- to pull in audiences without the gimmicks. His setlists often mix in some of the raps he's laid down during his many guest appearances on tracks for the likes of Kanye and Swizz Beatz.

Great show, but the venue oversold the show, which made it over crowded.
His energy was on point from beginning to end! No dancers, no frills, just straight lyrics and beautiful visuals. He did just about every song from It’s Almost Dry and a few classics of course. Can’t wait to see him perform again. Timeless artist.
First of all, the… DJ? MC?… whoever he was, he kept asking if we were ready for IDK and Pusha T, even well after IDK was supposed to start his opening set. When he did, he kept stopping to berate the crowd for not giving it their all. Then Pusha T was supposed to come on and I guess the venue sold too many tickets because they were still letting in people half an hour after Pusha was supposed to come on and he had to wait until they all came in. By that point the venue was much more crowded than it usually is and it was not worth the wait.
Been a fan of Push from day ONE… Clipes days! He put on an amazing show - as expected. No unnecessary props - just music and flow. The crowd was a LOT younger than expected. I usually get VIP at the The Filmore, but with it being Push, I wanted to be front and center. BIG MISTAKE. The mosh pit was a bit much for me. Aside from that, Push DELIVERED! Furthermore, with it being a younger crowd; it only proves that his music is timeless. I was hoping to see some of his features from It’s Almost Dry. Specifically: No Malice, Labrinth and Kid Cudi. Nonetheless we left SATISFIED! #Push
Best Concert I been to! HANDS DOWN. Pusha T Rap Album Of the Year!
The last show I went to at the Filmore, the crowd got really crazy and extreme uncomfortable at times. This Pusha T performance was great though, he and the opening act IDK had the crown under control and the security team did a great job of helping people and handing out water cups. This was probably my favorite concert I’ve been to, Pusha had a phenomenal performance.
Pusha is a great performer! His show was clear and concise! Even if you don’t know his music you will not get bored! Cause his visuals are top tier.
Pusha T delivered an amazing show. Full of energy and well performed.
Excellent performance as an artist. Gave the crowd what they wanted.
Push definitely put on a show. Salute to Push. It's Almost Dry.
The show was amazing ! Real hip hop . One man show was dope . The lyrics were crisp and clear.
His creativity of background installation visuals and his music together invented a memory that will forever be! 1 more thing; He told the fans “your not my fans… you’re Family!”
Pusha t and Coca Cola Roxy is a perfect match. The show was great. Only thing that was bad was the long lines for the bar
It’s almost dry Rap Album of the year See y’all at the Grammys…
RAP ALBUM OF THE YEAR! Great show by Pusha and also IDK who opened.
I only really came for IDK, i know all of his lyrics and all and he did amazing. PUSHA T really knows how to pick up an audience and make us go crazy it was one of the best nights i had in awhile. pusha is really KING PUSH AOTY.
Pusha T gave an incredible performance, as usual. The venue was very clean and security was polite and professional.
The event was great! The performance was well worth the amount I paid. The view I got up front was fantastic.
First, let me say I drove from Charlotte, NC to see Push again (yes, I was at the Charlotte show in June) and he NEVER disappoints. I’m a huge super fan. Push is a performer, period. The show was amazing, everything from song selection and placement to his voice and crowd interaction. Push is everything. I highly recommend seeing Pusha T live.
