About

Virginia-based rapper Pusha T, who came to fame during his lengthy run with his brother Gene "No Malice" Thornton in the acclaimed duo Clipse, released his first solo album for Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint in 2013, and backed it with select concert dates. Dubbed My Name is My Name, the album solidified Pusha T's (whose real name is Terrance Thornton) reputation as one of hip hop's most important names, and hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. As with his work with Clipse, Pusha T's solo work pushes hip hop's creative envelope while still keeping a foot in the pop realm. Fans with tickets to see Pusha T on tour should expect a minimum of frills -- a hype man and a DJ typically fill out his crew. He's got the intense charisma -- and the rhymes -- to pull in audiences without the gimmicks. His setlists often mix in some of the raps he's laid down during his many guest appearances on  tracks for the likes of Kanye and Swizz Beatz.

    Rocked Center Stage in ATL

by IvanTheEngineer on 3/10/14Center State - Atlanta

Concert Started about 9:30, but Push didn't come on to 10:15 and performed about and hour. His set was sick. He performed almost all of MNIMN and did some cuts from his mixtapes as well. If you are a real Pusha T fan you'll love moments like "Millions" "Blocka", "Cook it Down" and "Nosetalgia". He did the set non-stop and brought out CyHi who has one of the hottest mixtapes out right now. He performed "Huey" to give Push a break. Matter of fact it would have been cool if CyHi did a few more songs from Black Histori that way Push could have done a few more cuts from the Clipse days. Push ends the concert with "Grindin".

    Pusha T is the man.

by BriaB on 2/5/14The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Maybe I'm just a die hard King Push fan but that was the greatest concert I've ever been to. The whole crowd was vibing with him, he interacted so well with us. He also didn't just do new songs but he took it back as well, he ended his encore with "Grindin'" and the crowd went nuts! At the end I was exhausted, had lost my voice but was fully satisfied. I'd go see him again no questions asked.

    King Push

by sjonesd3 on 1/28/14Newport Music Hall - Columbus

The opening artists were pretty good, seeing as I was only there for Stalley & Pusha T. Stalley was great he performed some of his best songs and did a great amount as well. When Pusha eventually came out he had the crowd in excitement during his entire time with fans going bar for bar on every song. He performed alot of his catalog. He ended up leaving the stage then the crowd kept chanting "King Push", then he came back out and performed two more songs. He ended it with "Grindin" which was my first song of his that I heard while apart of Clipse.

    KING PUSH

Pusha T brings an electric and vicious performance at each live performance I've seen him. If you have a liking for his music, you will love seeing him live.

    Unprofessional, Egregious, and Disappointing

by CamGiles on 1/14/14Echostage - Washington

We had high hopes for this show when it was announced considering the year that King Push had in 2013, but this was a letdown of epic proportions. The show was advertised as beginning at 9 pm, so we figured there would be a few openers and the main act would come on at 9. However, save for maybe Phil Ade, we were bombarded by sub-par DJ's and umpteen awful local unknown artists who were used as filler to make up for the fact that the artist was a no-show. We waited from 9:30 PM until 1 AM, which is more than reasonable considering the main act should have come on at 11 if he had any sort of respect for his fans, until finally leaving after yet another empty promise of the artist being "in the building" combined with another shameless plug to head to the bar for overpriced drinks. Who comes on after 1 AM as a headliner? The Echostage should stick to EDM events and Pusha T should know better as a veteran in the rap game.

    Pusha-T

    by Ryb2 on 1/14/14Echostage - Washington

Horrible all around experience. Concert started at 9, Pusha T did not take the stage until almost 1:30, which is ridiculous even for a concert. Terrible quality of undercard acts as well. Would not recommend this show at all, although the venue was nice.

Great show. But it's better to buy a general admission ticket because the vip tables block the vip standing. You can't see the show. Pusha t was Awesome though.

    He was ok

by BlakeAmazing on 1/14/14Echostage - Washington

First there were way too many opening acts. They were all local artists and there were about 20 of them. Second Pusha T didn't even come out until 1 am! The convert started at 9pm!!! And worst of all Pusha T was only on stage for about 50 minutes. It was way too short

This event was very poorly planned. I paid just over $66 for two meet and greet tickets and was never explained as to why it was cancelled. I have yet to be refunded for the cancelled meet and greet after calling customer service the Monday after the concert (12/16). After this experience, I am hesitant to buy tickets for a concert, especially for a meet and greet. I am not happy with the concert experience and regret purchasing the tickets.

    Pusha T

    by LeeLa7 on 12/20/11The Clubhouse - Tempe

I feel so blessed to have been in the same building as this man. I shouted out to him "I LOVE YOU PUSHA!!" and he said "I love you too" Now I understand how people felt about Elvis Presly and Michael Jackson, crying in joy at the sight of these artist. Although I did not cry, I felt like I literally was in heaven on a cloud and was in the hands of Pusha himself. I was front row stage and was not going anywhere. He even signed my poster! MY GOD!! This man has filled me with such joy. Thank you to everyone wo made this possible. Xoxo, see you at the next one, Pusha!!!

    YEUH!!! PUSHA-T!!!

by elephantparty on 6/27/11Key Club - West Hollywood

Pusha was, as expected, amazing! The venue was clean and very nice looking on the inside. However, there were too many mediocre opening acts. I understand the reason for opening acts, but they either need to be cut down a bit, or they need to speed up the time in between acts.
