Virginia-based rapper Pusha T, who came to fame during his lengthy run with his brother Gene "No Malice" Thornton in the acclaimed duo Clipse, released his first solo album for Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music imprint in 2013, and backed it with select concert dates. Dubbed My Name is My Name, the album solidified Pusha T's (whose real name is Terrance Thornton) reputation as one of hip hop's most important names, and hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart. As with his work with Clipse, Pusha T's solo work pushes hip hop's creative envelope while still keeping a foot in the pop realm. Fans with tickets to see Pusha T on tour should expect a minimum of frills -- a hype man and a DJ typically fill out his crew. He's got the intense charisma -- and the rhymes -- to pull in audiences without the gimmicks. His setlists often mix in some of the raps he's laid down during his many guest appearances on tracks for the likes of Kanye and Swizz Beatz.
First time seeing Pusha T Live and the show was amazing. The venue was perfect
Went to the June show and the October show and both were crazy 🔥. Rap album of the year easy. Hit after hit after hit, top tier music performance and stage presence.
Great show by Pusha T!!!! Great crowd, intimate setting, dope stage show presentation!!! Crowd was into the show and an hour full of packed hits….PUSH !!!!
This was such a great show. Pusha T is so talented, expressive, and captivating. He’s a great artist/entertainer. I’m very happy I was able to attend this event! Pusha T is now in my Top 5!
After 2 decades. Pusha played all the hits and cuts! If you know you know!
Everything was smooth and easy no issues! Just wish we could pick our seats. Once you pick your section they put you in the seats they want you in but it was still nice and organized! Ladies don’t bring a purse only clear bags or nothing but your keys!
The energy, stage presence, and set list was great. Push really showed why he’s still one of the best in the rap game and IDK showed what he’s bringing to the industry as an up-and-coming artist. Truly a great show!
King Push did not disappoint, with an awesome set of nothing but hits.
Concert Was Dope , Played most of his top hits. The crowd was vibing. We had a good time
Push came with the energy. The crowd was also lit! ReupGang forever
Turnt up energy in the standing room. Lyrically speaking out of his performance one of the realest ever done.
Rockstar!!!!! Can’t wait to see you again KING PUSH KING PUSH
It was a very cool concert and everything seemed to go well. 10/10 would do again.
Perfect show. Nice venue. Nice employees. Literally no notes. LOVE Pusha and will definitely be at his next show in PHX.
The concert was really fun and Pusha and IDK put on a fantastic show
IDK and Pusha T completely captivated the crowd. IDK delivered with a good set and a meet and greet after, then Pusha T finished the night with banger after banger. Great energy, the whole crowd was vibin with the amazing sonics.
Push was amazing as to be expected and the venue was perfect. He performed the entire album as well as classics from previous albums and features.
One of the best Pusha-T concerts of all time... Played all the hits . The vibe was super jumping and the place was at high Frequency. After seeing the WuTang concert the week before ... its hard to tell who pit on a better concert .. long live King 🤴 Push.. ITS THE DRY SEASON...
Luv the show overall but I wanna perform on a tour. It’s my dream and my music is finally good enough
I just happened to check out what was happening around me, having recently moved to the twin cities area, and i found out they Pusha T was in town and performing that very Sunday night. That was all the information i needed. I’m huge fan! But to clear any bias, i want to point out that i have certain reservations when it comes to hip-hop concerts; i’m not with the whole group of unknown thots on stage, all holding a mic and rapping all at once, delivering a cacophonous spectacle. THAT did not happen and i am all the more grateful. Instead, Kings Push delivered a flawless performance, one that hinted that there was a plan in place and he was going about things accordingly. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HIS SHOW AGAIN! Shout out: BIG shout outs go to IDK, a well known artist, it seemed, but very new to me, who opened up the show, and he also did an incredible job! The venue: Beat place i’ve gone to a concert, period, in terms of accessibility and safety. On that note, both Pusha T and IDK made sure they address the audience prior to performing, and reiterated the importance of having a clean and safe fun time! Professional! Professional! Professional! I wish him many more years of success! Did i mention Pusha T was from NY, NY, my favorite city on this planet! He definitely represented NY, too, for that matter. As he himself put it, his last album is the best one for 2022, EASY!
