Both my boyfriend and I enjoyed The Lion King very much. The music, the costumes and the energy of the cast made for a fantastic show!
Amazing!! I was so overwhelmed by the performance and music, I cried so much. It has been a long wish to see The Lion King. A beautiful experience. Very talented performance. I loved every minute of the experience. It made my holiday. I would definitely see it again. An wonderful experience.
It was the most amazing experience... we were in Africa with all of its grandeur .... the emotions of the characters, the costumes, the stage sets, the music... absolutely fabulous!!!
Fabulous stage setting, beautiful vocals, live music, all are perfect!!
I enjoyed with my 6 year old daughter. Orchestra sheet was great. 2.5hours passed too early. My daughter said she wanted to see it again soon. The stage looked like a jungle. It was good to go to Japan from a theater.Thank you .
Me and my mom had literal Goosebumps from beginning to end. Go see this show!!! You will not be disappointed!
It was an excellent show. It lived up to my expectations. I would definitely go see it again!
We saw The Lion King with our daughter 25 years ago when it first opened on Broadway. It was wonderful then and it still is. Last Sunday we brought our daughter and her three children to see the show. We were again amazed at the creativity and talent in this show. The costumes are amazing. The choreography fantastic. The direction, acting, singing and dancing were perfect. We enjoyed it all the more this time since we have traveled to Kenya and South Africa in the 25 years since seeing it the first time and appreciate the African languages and culture references used in the play. The kids just loved it because it was also lots of fun to watch. Every one should see it!
I'm probably one of the few left in the tri-state area who hadn't had the pleasure of attending this amazing show. I took my daughter and grandson - and had spoken to enough people about it to know to get aisle seats downstairs. He is 9 and was absolutely mesmerized by everything going on in the theatre. All 3 of us totally enjoyed the production. It was well worth the wait, and the time to get into the City for this event. Thank you Disney!!
My whole family love every part of it! The sound, the costume, the presentation and most importantly the acting. They were all amazing very entertaining.
Smooth process to get into the theater, the show has great production, and the performers were engaging!
We had 3 children sitting in front of us. 1/3 way through they were done. Parents couldn’t control their kids and were not asked to leave because they were in the second row.
The music was great, and the way they simulated the animals was very impressive and unique. It followed the familiar story line, and as in the original cartoon version, some of the characters, including Timon and Poomba, were funny, charming and fun. The entire cast is extremely talented, and I am glad we went!
Absolutely blown away with how amazing the cast brought the movie to life. One of my favorite broadway experiences.
Doesn’t live up to the hype. Uneven caliber of dancing and acting. Beautiful singing.
20 years after this show began, i finally saw it. I wish i was told how really great it is years earlier. Visually striking, you couldn't tell where the characters and actors started and ended. So fluid! The colors of the fabrics were gorgeous. When certain things happened in the audience, it was unexpected and exciting. The puppeteering by the actors was beyond my imagination. I sat next to a child about 4 years old and this was his first Broadway show. He was laughing and smiling and quiet in all the right places. I told him he would always remember his first Broadway show and he will always be happy it was The Lion King. While this was probably my 100th show, I'm also happy that i saw The Lion King. I will always remember it.
Amazing experience, one of the best musicals I’ve been to! Definitely recommend it, for all ages!
This was my 8th time seeing The Lion King on Broadway and as usual, it was amazing. The acting, the singing, the dancing, the staging, the costumes, the music, everything was just beautiful. I danced in my seat, sang along, fought back tears. I can see this play 8 more times and never be bored.
The Lion King was our very first Broadway show to see. It was exceedingly above what we thought we were going to see and experience. The cast, musicians, props, lighting, media, and director were all 5 Stars. Bravo!!
The comedic nuances and reference to Frozen was disjointed ... Relevant in terms of contemporary culture but, irrelevant to the overall setting and African culture. Rafiki and Nala were amazing!!
