Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena
The Wintrust Arena at McCormick Square, home of the Chicago Sky, is located in the Near South Side community in Chicago, Illinois. The 10,387-seat facility opened in 2017, though the Sky played their first full season at their new home court in 2018. The relocation marked a major change for the Chicago Sky, who previously played outside of their home city at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. We went to the Chicago Sky Game and it was a great experience. The seats were amazing and so was the game.
Everything was great I love the way you can order your food ahead of time no long wait for food not even a wait for the restroom everything was perfect
The Sky put on a virtuoso performance that ignited the crowd! It was so exciting to be a part of the crowd! Best outing for me personally, all year!
A very good experience . my daughter and I had a great time . looking forward to another game.
The experience at Wintrust is always amazing. The players are very friendly as well and the atmosphere is simply awesome. It always feels like being in a family environment.
Love going to Sky games! Nice venue, wish they had a better merch set up. Smaller arena so not a bad seat in the place
I had a great time! Good vibes and a very free environment!! Love the way the team interacts with the crowd!! The Dj is also good!
Loved the venue, workers were friendly, helpful in the parking area and in the concourses (I needed to make a phone call and was allowed to step outside and return). Energy of the game, great. Tried to purchase a raffle ticket, the online system, using my phone created 2 error messages and after working on it for over 5 minutes, I gave up. Need an easier way to get more participation. One merchandise area, very, very long line. LImited selection, no jerseys. I did purchase a pullover but with the setup and line, didn't really look over much. Will return!
This was an amazing game, in a beautiful arena that was extremely clean.
Great outing for the whole family watching world-class athletes compete at a high level in an entertaining atmosphere.
Sky games are competitive, family friendly and overall a great time to watch some fantastic basektball! Highly recommend.
This was my first in-person game, and it was great!!! Will definitely go again. Seeing the team was so special - so much talent and enthusiasm. The Wintrust is a friendly, accessible comfortable venue, most seats are terrific. My only complaint is the parking - it was impossible!!! Next time I will not bring my car.
It was a fantastic game between the Sky and Connecticut Sun. The Sky games are so exciting and entertaining to watch.
The game was very exciting and the fans were very friendly. Will look forward to going to a playoff game or two.
My jr high girls loved the experience. Great game! Great entertainment during timeouts, etc. Not a bad seat at Wintrust Arena, but I wonder if I could have just waited and bought cheaper tickets at the box office.
Very frustrating to get to seats! Convention next door at McCormick Place meant that by 11:15am, there was absolutely NO parking (bad planning!) Neighborhood a little further out is too questionable to park out there. We get to arena and there's ONE ENTRANCE for what turned out to be 8,000 people in attendance. WHO does that? Then, when you finally get in, it was hard getting to our seats. We walked in and turned to our left and the 1st concourse is blocked with a VIP Club. We can see our seats just on the other side of the area and they wouldn't let us through. We had to walk and get through(with little ones) all the way around. I am a basketball coach who's been to countless arenas around the country, including 10 Final Fours, and no other stadium blocks their 1st level concourse! From State & Cermak, which is a half mile away....to our seats....it took us 45 minutes! Once we planted our exhausted selves in our seats, the Sky does an unbelievable job with their in-game entertainment which made for an enjoyable 2 hour game!
I don’t watch WNBA games really and I went for a family member to watch the Sky. I was blown away by the entire experience. The crowd was into it like it was a major NCAA game and the Women are so much more talented than given credit for. If you like to watch basketball then it’s something you have to experience.
Friend and I took our 12 year old daughters to our first Chicago sky game. We absolutely loved it. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The atmosphere was awesome. If you want to watch good, excellent fundamental basketball, go check out the Sky
The seats that was chosen was phenomenal it was such a great experience being that this was my first time at this venue.
Loved all the energy in the stadium was a fun atmosphere! Wish there was more Sky merchandise to purchase, but beyond that great game great atmosphere food was good too
