It is so wonderful to have events like this to share with my little girl. We were both awestruck with the scenery and vocals of this performance. It was truly amazing!! If you have a little girl, don't miss this! If you don't have one....go see it anyway, you'll thank me later!!

Took my little one to her first big production Musical/Play. We had a great time with Annie. It was a flawless producion, with good sound and quality actors. The Fox is always a great place to see any show and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Annie was superb!
by 444444 on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5We took our daughters 6 and 8 along with grandparents. The girls were on the edge of their seats. Grandpa was on the edge of his seat quite a bit too. The cast was amazing. Would see it again. Great production. Of course the FOX theater is always fabulous.

Great show
by MelWell on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5This show was fantastic. The talent was amazing! There were kids EVERYWHERE though (which is to be expected) and the ones around us kept making a lot of noise. The one right in front of my fiance even stood up half the time. It was really annoying, but the show itself was great, just a little long.
Annie was uplifting
by Suegbloom on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5We came out singing and dancing. I took my two grandchildren who loved the entire experience from the greeter at the front to the cleaning crew at the end.
Best Annie I've seen.
by JanKing on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5The production was memorable from beginning to end. The cast was wonderful in their roles and loved the addition of all the orphans. Wondered if they were local dancers. The sets were beautifully done and transition was amazingly seamless. And of course the orchestra gave that Fox feeling to all the songs.

by brooksjr on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5My wife, along with my 2 daughters, absolutely loved the show. My daughters who have seen the Annie on DVD, was very aware of the different presentations of the show, and the show did not dissapoint. We a very absorbed in the Arts and The Fox Theatre brought in outstanding cast. I wish we could have invited more of our friends. Regards,

Annie needed to step up the pace
by eklscribe on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5My daughter was thrilled to see "Annie" in person and loved the musical numbers. She yawned and snacked her way through some of the depression-era details (particularly in the oval office.) Which is to be expected. What I didn't expect were MY yawns through the whole production, mostly because of the pokey pace of things. The dialogue was slow, not snappy. Sometimes the pauses were so long they were awkward. It seemed the director substituted slowness for soulfulness in the sad bits. If the actors had just spoken a little faster and their reaction times had been a bit peppier, I think it would have helped a lot!

Loved Annie
by sammiethemonkey on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5My 15 year old daughter is a broadway musical nut, so I gave her tix to Annie for Christmas, and I am so glad! It was one of the best shows and one of the most engaged audiences I have ever seen. We were enthralled and genuinely entertained. Great cast! Great Staging (except for the loud snowmaking machine at the end...Director should have picked a less noisy way to simulate snow behind the big windows at the Warbucks mansion...it sounded like a vacuum cleaner being turned on during a very quiet part of the show). But that is my only criticism. It really was superb, and I highly recommend this producton to everyone who loves a great musical!

Annie
by Countrymouse1 on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5I have seen Annie probably 15 times in my life. I have never been disappointed and last night's event was no exception.
Annie was FANTASTIC!
by SLDD on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5I was absolutely amazed by the quality of this production. The quality of the set, the music, costumes, and acting blew me away. My whole family enjoyed it thoroughly and look forward to another show.
Great Show, shame about the audience!
by ATLBRITS on 1/18/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5Everyone knows what to expect with Annie, cute kids, top-tapping and memorable songs songs, heart-strings tugged etc.... etc... and we were not disappointed. It was just a shame that we were surrounded by families with children of no more than 6 years old, who talked, dropped popcorn and bounced up and down constantly. I know this is a family show, but it would be great if venues could recognize that it's a tall order for a 6 year old to sit still for 2 1/2 hours anywhere - never mind the theater - and in doing so maybe reserve a 'family' section in the upper rows? That said, I would always recommend this show!
