This was everything I had hoped! Wonderful acting and singing and dancing!
Had such a great time seeing Annie! Wonderful show! The cast was brilliant.
We had a great time. The acting, the singing, the set, and everything else was just perfect. Would highly recommend this musical.
The Annie show was totally worth it ~ it was like being on The real Broadway ~ The actors and actresses really enjoyed playing their parts and singing their songs & the orchestra was fantastic ~ We had a great time watching their opening night in Charleston SC ~ Standing ovation and 5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Annie delivers the goods! In this time of uncertainty this uplifting musical will warm your heart. Cast is top notch! And the orchestra/overture… 🔥🔥🔥
The cast, the vocals, the ensembles, the music and the props (which by the way I always think makes the show so much more alive)....what more can I say. It was a wonderful performance and I would definitely see it again. The entire cast were absolutely great. Thank you ANNIE!!
I was so impressed with every aspect of the sensor friendly performance of Annie. My sister is mentally challenged and can be talkative during a performance. I was so at ease knowing sensor friendly meant no "shushing". She did speak and sing softly; we had a great time and wonderful experience. With the audience lights on during the performance, restroom visits were safe and easy. I so appreciate this accommodation for people like me and my sister. We will be going to as many sensor friendly shows as we can. Thank you!
This was a sensory performance. I was amazed at how great the audience was. It was a good performance and kept the audience mesmerized. The singing was great! Our 5 year old love it! She wants to see more!
Very professional Had a blast! Recommend it highly
The venue was so easy to access, the show was fantastic. We look forward hopefully to go there again to see mama Mia
My brother loves Annie, so we've seen several productions from Jr. High up to when it was back on Broadway. He always enjoys it, and most productions give it their all and do a great job. This was no exception; Annie & the orphans (esp. Molly) were the tops, and Daddy Warbucks & Miss Hannigan were fabulous. The whole cast was just great, the sets were great. This was IMHO just about as good as the Broadway production. Well done! The Count Basie is a lovely older theatre, so seating's a bit cramped, they could use more restrooms, and decent, close parking is a challenge. But the sound was good, so the star rating is for the show, not just the venue (venue more like a 4).
Great show, cast was great and show was very entertaining! Theater is historic and beautiful!
I thought the play was wonderful and the set was beautiful! A little difficult understanding the words to the songs the girls sang. They were shouting at times. Just need to sing bit shout. Great actors!
Absolutely wonderful show! The talent was just outstanding!! My niece and I enjoyed the show very much!!
I took my daughter to see Annie at the Count Basie Theatre on Sunday, April 22nd. The show from start to finish was amazing. I loved the movie from the early 80s, and the play closely mirrored the movie that I love and remember. In fact, the play was even better than the movie. My 7 year-old and I had a memorable day, and we will be back to Count Basie Theatre to see more shows. Furthermore, I will keep an eye out to see when Phoenix Productions, whose actors starred in the production of Annie we saw, will be doing more shows. The children and adults who were a part of Annie were all great.
I have never seen a community theater put on such a professional performance. The singing voices were outstanding. Kendall Thorner has a long acting career ahead of her. She was awesome. I could listen to Daddy Warbucks sing all day. Thoroughly enjoyable performance.
A great play, professionally orchestrated with a cast that is unforgettable.
This production featured terrific performances, excellent sets, and the venue is one of my favorite.
Hard to believe we were watching a "community theater" production at this show. Everything was fantastic from the talent to the orchestra. Bravo! Bravo!
