It was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by grandma, daughter and granddaughters. Loved having 3 generations together for such a great show.
My husband and I brought our daughters aged 8,9,11 to see Annie at the Fox. It was a stellar performance. Sally Struthers was perfect as Ms. Hannigan. Other great performances were from Annie and Daddy Warbucks. The only criticism that I have was there was a 4 year old girl behind us who belted out all of the Annie songs....VERY LOUDLY. I wish the Fox would enforce the "no sing along" policy, as this is the second performance I have seen there in the past 6 mos. where the person behind me was singing along and loudly (the other show was Mama Mia). If I wanted to hear another kid singing Annie songs, I would have stayed at home and had my girls sing it to me. Please Fox.....please, please, please, remind your patrons not to sing and please enforce this.
The title role of Ms. Hannigan is such a great one. I was disappointed In the performance of Ms. Struthers. Her voice was weak and as a result, the character of Ms. Hannigan was a weak one. However, kudos to the actors who played Annie and Daddy Warbucks---they were great!! I have seen Annie 3 times with my children, and now my grandchildren. I was amazed to see that in this performance, the second act (which always sees a little restlessness by the younger audience members) was keeping the attention of the entire crowd--big and small!!
The children, Annie and Molly, were the greatest child stars I have ever seen!
Great show!!! Great Great Great. Annie is my all time favorite!!! I enjoyed myself tremendously.
I had never seen the stage play of Annie...only the movie which I dd not care for so my expectation were quite low. To my surprise, I thoroughly enjoyed the stage play. The cast was superb and the children's voices were especially thrilling. Even the features song, "Tomorrow", sounded fresh and new even though I have heard it a million times. Just a feel good afternoon in the theatre.
Feel good play!!! Great characters!! I a wonderful time with my niece.
Fun show, took my daughter when she was 5-and now taking my granddaughter at 5. It is timeless. The Fox always does a great job.
My first time attending a show at the Fox, and it was quite memorable. I would highly reccommend Annie and I look forward to another experience at the Fox.
It's been years since I saw "Annie" for the first time with my children and "loved it", and I enjoyed it just as much with my grandchildren this time. I would definitely recommend seeing it, especially at the Fox which is such a beautiful theatre!
Annie was amazing, I would recommend this play to anyone, and as usual the Fox Theatre was great.
Very cute! Great acting by the children, as well as the other actors :)
I took my 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son to see Annie and the show exceeded all expectations, including my expectation of hearing the word "damn" repeated about 15 times. This otherwise was an outstanding performance but I was VERY disappointed in the choice to add this to a show that is marketed toward children.
We loved the singing and acting! The children were wonderful!
Performers were great and talented, even Sandy. My granddaughter thought the Christmas theme was interesting and different.
The show was great and the kids were incredible. Go see it.
I decided to go to the show the day before and I purchased to orchestra seats for about $100 per person. I've never been to the fox theater so I decided to finally go. It was PACKED, to say the least. I could only see glances of the stage because the were so many people in front of me. I'm 5'4 and had trouble.. The pricing of candy and popcorn was decent, the theater was old but clean. Oh, AND Annie had straight hair! :( also, They cut out the Indian man out of the play, and altered the plot a bit too much for my liking... Overall, it was good.
Great show, great story, great performance. Sound was too loud at beginning but got better adjusted. Annie's microphone failure was not cool!
It was a good show and my 9 year old son loved it.
Overall, the show was well done. The kids were very good. The tiny girl was amazing, cute, and funny. Again, the overall production was pretty good. We enjoyed.
