  • Great musical

I was great to see this musical again. My family enjoyed it very much. I saw this pal on Broadway back in the late 1970's. This presentation lived up to this.

I went to see this show because I know a few of the girls performing in the orphan ensemble. I've seen Annie many, many times and I was delighted with how wonderful this production was! Well directed, great acting...I was particularly impressed with Sally Struthers. I've seen my share of celebrity stars who give lackluster, unimpressive performances - but not Ms. Struthers! You can tell she's giving it her all and her portrayal of Miss Hannigan is fantastic. She is an artist who cares about giving the audience the best of her self. I also loved the actors playing Daddy Warbucks and Grace Farrel. Our local Atlanta actors did us proud with equally great performances. If you can, go see this show - you won't be disappointed. :-)

It was a wonderful afternoon with my granddaughter. We both loved it. A little one was not happy and the rest of the theater knew!! The mother let her wander up the aisle slowly crying loudly. So sad for her and everyone around her. The actors carried on over the noise. And the performance was tops.

  • Good but left something to be desired

by skhy on 1/16/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

Annie had amazing singing, and set design, but the choreography and acting occasionally left me wanting more. Some of the actors were not very expressive; lacked a lot of arm movement. Also the songs were so upbeat and made me want to jump up and dance, but the choreography had the actors moving minimally or not at all. I expect enthusiasm and gaiety with a musical such as Annie, and it was missing that at times.

Annie was phenomenal. Unfortunately, the air conditioner was on the blitz and it was awfully hot in there.

I thought Annie was great! The only thing was that the play was too long for a child.

We went to Atlanta to celebrate a friend's birthday. The weekend as a whole was fantastic, and the icing on the cake was Annie. The show was excellent, the acting superb, the music magical, and the Fox, as always, inspiring. It was worth every penny!

From the rafters I could hear every word for which I thank all of the performers and crew. This was to be a special Daddy-Daughter Day for me and my nine year old. The play was a big hit with her! And as for me Annie once again delivered her wonderful message of love of family. Beautiful cast and great job by all. We will be back.

Well done and using some local children in the cast was terrific. Sally Struthers played a great part for her. My wife made the comment she enjoyed every part of the play.

  • Great Show!!

We enjoyed Annie very much. The only thing that was disappointing was the inappropriate language that was used occasionally. This show is geared towards family so I didn't appreciate my niece having to hear words that she doesn't normally hear. The bad words aren't really necessary.

  • Daughter loved it

Took my five year old and we both just loved it. The cast was wonderful!

  • New Years Eve at Toby's was the GREATEST!!!

by Joe586 on 1/2/12Toby's Dinner Theatre Baltimore - BaltimoreRating: 4 out of 5

I was overwhelmed with my experience at Toby's. The show was great, the cast was fantastic. And the New Years celebration after the show was out of this world. From the Caberet, to the dancing, to the noise makers and champagne at midnight and enjoyable breakfast to leave. I would recommend this to anyone who would like a family inspired New Year's Eve. I will return!
