All is Calm - What a disappointment
by paxman1 on 11/21/14The Charleston Music Hall - CharlestonRating: 1 out of 5No imagination, no creativity! Listening to a group of men singing acapella for 90 minutes with virtually no movement and no visual effects ? Was boring the objective here? How about dividing the stage into American/British - No Man's Land - Germans? How about an American actually talking to a German, sharing family photos? This concert was like listening to a radio show. It didn't matter if you sat in the first row or by the lobby door as there was nothing to see. I realize this was not a play, but still, a little effort in dramatization for this historical event would have gone a long way toward making the show a memorable one.
