ADAM CAROLLA is best known as a comedian, actor, radio personality, television host and NY Times best-selling author. He currently hosts The Adam Carolla Show, which holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for “most downloaded podcast," and was recently a star on NBC's Celebrity Apprentice. His latest book, Not Taco Bell Material, was released in June 2012 from Random House Publishing.
Adam started The Adam Carolla Show podcast with only a computer and a microphone from his home office in February 2009. That year the podcast was named iTunes #1 Podcast of 2009, and it has only grown since then. The podcast receives more than five million downloads a month and has been featured in Fast Company Magazine, Entrepreneur, The New York Times, and The Los Angeles Times. Adam’s immediate success prompted him to launch an entire online network, ACE Broadcasting in February 2010, which produces many of iTunes' top podcast programming.
Adam became a New York Times best-selling author when his book, In 50 Years We'll All Be Chicks, topped the charts for ten weeks. The audio version went straight to the #1 position on iTunes and remains there today. His new e-book, Rich Man Poor Man, is now available on iTunes.
Before running his online empire, Adam hosted The Adam Carolla Show on CBS radio stations in Los Angeles, Portland and Las Vegas. The four-hour weekday morning program was syndicated in several major markets, including Seattle, Sacramento and Fresno.
Adam has also starred on ABC's hit reality series Dancing with the Stars, hosted Comedy Central's Too Late with Adam Carolla and starred in TLC's The Adam Carolla Project, which chronicled the renovation and subsequent sale of his boyhood home.
Following brief stints as a skilled carpenter and boxing trainer, Adam began his career in radio after answering an ad seeking a boxing instructor to train then radio personality Jimmy Kimmel of KROQ's Kevin and Bean Show in Los Angeles. He eventually joined the show's repertoire as “Mr. Birchum,” a wood shop teacher. Adam’s success on KROQ led to a hosting job on the nationally syndicated radio program Loveline with Dr. Drew Pinsky. MTV developed a television version of the show, which was co-hosted by Adam and Dr. Drew for five seasons (1996-2000). The duo also authored The Dr. Drew and Adam Book: A Survival Guide to Life and Love.
With his partners Daniel Kellison and Jimmy Kimmel, Adam heads Jackhole Industries, and created and starred in two hit Comedy Central shows, The Man Show and Crank Yankers.
A native of Southern California, Adam currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Lynette, and their twins.

What a great show! Ace never dissapoints. I have a feeling there were a lot of wives and girlfriends there that are now new fans of his. Great material and a smooth flow. Loved the intimateness of it all. Will definitely look for more shows at The Orpheum. Great venue for entertainment. Thank you for providing cocktails at this show. Good times!
Good show, but wanted more ranting from Carolla. After hearing him on the radio for so long and reading his latest book, I expected something a bit more edgy. The venue itself was disappointing. Normally, I'm a fan of The Pageant, but the seats were uncomfortably close together and there was no way to order a drink during the show without being disruptive.
Great show, delivering exactly what anyone should have expected. The life affirming stuff at the end was different, but I was there to listen to Adam, and that's what we got to do.
Show was around two hours. Adams years on t.v. and radio really shown through as he was funny and entertaining the entire time. Not just another tired stand-up act.
Adam Carolla is the most hilarious man on the earth.
Super funny intro. Loved the slide show that went with the act. Gay eye was hilarious! I am 8 months pregnant and thought I might go into early labor because I was laughing so hard.
Great show. Big fan and exactly what I thought it would be.
Carolla's standup act is fantastic and a must see. He does his act with a slideshow which makes it even funnier. Great storyteller. Even interacted with the crowd a bit. Very well done and well worth the money. He even stayed around afterwards to sign my copy of "In 50 Years We'll All Be Chicks"!
Adam Carolla is a great story teller. He keeps you engaged and waiting for more. 90+ minutes just flew by. A must see event.
I had a great time playing DD with my two drunk friends. One idolizes Adam Carolla and was in heaven the entire show and the other one kept heckling Adam about his wrinkled ass pants. All in all, a great show. Adam was very professional and made me laugh the entire show. The video clip with the gay eye was genius!
Pretty funny/clever. I've seen comedians for a lot less dough at the Funny Bone that I thought were at least as funny. Not bad though.
Everything you would expect from Adam. He was very funny and had us rolling especially in the first half. It did feel a bit scripted, I do like him better when he is just ad libbing.
It was not as fun to someone that listens to the podcasts everyday and heard all the same stories. What kind of new material can I expect when you listen to someone 5 days a week for 90 mins a day. I wasn't disappointed, it was what I expected. It was nice to see in Live. I thought it would have been better if he would had a guest..even a local to interview, we have local talent that would be interesting for him to interview. I think he does best when he doesnt know what he is going to say..
I drove down from Milwaukee to see this show (Adam hasn't come to the midwest in a long time!) even though I saw him in Chicago twice and will see him in Milwaukee. Adam personalizes every show, I heard a 'new' story (new to his act) and saw some classic material. The screen was placed weird, as he uses it in his act but he had to look up and behind him to see it. He had only one show, as opposed to other sell-out venues where they book multiple shows, so he was in a great mood and very willing to sign and photo-op after the show. The venue was clean, decent drink prices and very good selection of beer on tap.
adam carolla is awsome and made me laugh at every turn. smart and funny guy.
Very entertaining show, enjoyed the multimedia aspect of it.
I am big fan of Adam's podcast. This show wasn't half as good as his worst podcast. The show seemed stale and was just mildly funny and entertaining and really lacked energy. Additionally, the seating couldn't have been less comfortable. The chairs butt up against each other and there's no room to move. It was just an odd experience. I've never been to the Pageant and expected great things. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing evening. I left before the show was over and at least I was able to get out of the parking lot with relative ease.
Terrible material with homophobic and racist themes/comments. Walked out after first 15 minutes.
Don't waste your money. Carrolla' made it clear that the best part of the Man Show was Jimmy Kimmel. Sorry, Adam but I hardly even laughed. We left early. We didn't care how much money you made each year of your life since 1980....yaaaaaawwn!!!!
