A Flock of Seagulls on Tour
Get ready to ride the wave. A Flock of Seagulls are on tour and bringing their new wave hits to the stage with all the energy their fans and audiences remember. The band's peak success was found in the early 1980s and they are returning on tour to reunite with the generation that made them famous. The 2022 and 2023 tour will span the United States, making 10 stops along the way. Fans of the band will be thrilled to hear hits from their youth such as "I Ran (So Far Away,)" "Space Age Love Song," "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You" and "The More You Live, the More You Love." The tour promises to deliver nostalgia and new memories to all who attend.
A Flock of Seagulls Live in Concert
A Flock of Seagulls formed in 1979 in Liverpool. Lead vocalist and keyboardist Mike Score is also the founder of the band. Other current members include Kevin Rankin on drums, Gord Deppe on guitar and Pando on bass. The group's debut single "(It's Not Me) Talking," set them on the path to success. The band was signed to major label Jive in 1982 and distributed through CBS records, where they released their second single "Telecommunication." This Grammy-winning synthpop group grew to infamy with their offbeat haircuts and unconventional and eclectic music style, an unforgettable combination that has fans still reeling for more. The band attributes a large amount of their early success with the support and playtime they received from MTV. In 2018, the band's original members released a new album titled Ascension, their first studio recording since 1984. The 12-track album featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Following the success of this album, the band released another highly anticipated album -- String Theory, which again featured the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra -- in 2021. The band continues to proudly demonstrate their uniqueness and off-the-cuff style. A Flock of Seagulls is bringing the nostalgia back with their 2022 and 2023 tour across the United States.

fantastic band and the opening act was just like the real thing!
The audio was amazing. Friendly staff. Super clean venue.
Second time seeing them this year. First Houston, then Austin. They sounded great, brought me back to my teen years. Always loved Flock of Seagulls. Strangelove Depeche Mode Experience opened. They are amazing! Played so many DM hits! This is the year for 80’s music again
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. I have to say that I the cover band Strangelove stole the show a bit. They were fabulous!!! Just really knocked it out of the park. The venue itself was hot and kinda miserable with no seating at all inside. Drinks were outrageously overpriced. We had a wonderful time at the show and will seek out the Strangelove cover band again. I don’t think we’ll be going back to Emo’s anytime soon though. It’s just too physically uncomfortable a venue with heat, lack seating, and over $20 a pop for basic cocktail. $14 for simple cider. Meh…not a nice enough venue to be charging stadium prices for drinks.
Venue was hot as Hades. Parking sucked. The bands and audio was awesome
Great concert. A Flock of seagulls was amazing! First time seeing them. Strangelove Depeche Mode tribute is freaking awesome as always! And first time at Emos. Great experience at that venue.
I'm sorry but the Flock of Seagulls was a complete waste of money and time. Thank goodness for the opening act, Depeche Mode Experience! They rocked! But whatever road the lead singer of the FOS is going down is one I'll stay away from. We even left before his main hit song "I ran" came on because his vocals were so sloppy and bad, we imagined it would just ruin the song for us! LOL We should have known better!
The venue was so hot!!! I was going to pass out due to heat exhaustion!! I left early and did not see Flock of Seagulls!! I should get a refund!!! I am so disappointed!!!!
My friends and I went to their show at Emo's Austin for the vibes to start our night and had a great time even without knowing most of the songs!
My dream of seeing one of my top 3 favorite bands of all time has finally been realized! The energy from start to finish was impeccable and was truly a one of a kind experience. What made my night even more unique was the fact that A Flock Of Seagulls played my all time favorite song “Space Age Love Song” twice!! I was not expecting that to happen. Overall this is by far my new favorite concert experience
Saw Flock of Seagulls at the Van Buren in Phoenix. Venue was great. Parking was expensive close to the venue but probably could have found cheaper parking farther away. Strangelove definitely exceeded expectations! The were spot on with the Depeche Mode sound and the performance was top notch! Loved it so much! Flock of Seagulls was amazing just like I thought they would be! Definitely 10/10. Highly recommend!
Great venue for these bands. The house was packed but it did not feel "crowded", the energy was fantastic. Both bands put on an excellent show, I am looking forward to seeing more shows from these two bands as well as other artists at The Van Buren.
The opening band, Stange Love, we’re fantastic! Flock, not so much. They didn’t sound anything like their former selves and about 4 songs in, we bailed. It was just too painful (and sad) to listen to. I realize we are all getting older but sometimes you need to know when to hang it up instead of moving forward and butchering your own songs. I’m just saying’.
First time at the Van Beuren theater and the show was good.
Just a reminder of how great the 80's were. A Flock of Seagulls contributed to that time and now in '23, they're still contributing. Their opener, Strangelove, also brought the house down. Great night of music.
The opening band had a lot of energy and surprised of quality for a cover band, The Flock of Seagulls is a band came about while I was in diapers, and they did not miss a beat. Awesome show! I only gave 4 stars as the venue it was hard to access online tickets on phone due to horrible internet connection. Many customers struggled to get tickets up and caused friction and problems solving prior to show. The staff was really helpful to try to assist those who could not access their tickets, but this was a issue i had not encountered before at a show.
Strangelove DM tribute was fantastic. Flock of Seagulls was about what I expected, however, it was too loud. I know I’m old, but we were absolutely pounded by the volume of the music.
Tannahills is an intimate setting but the show by A Flock of Seagulls was greater still!! So much better in that setting.
The music sounded great. But, the vocals were not mixed properly. Lots of distortion. The Echo Lounge is a great, "right sized" venue.
Great performance both at the Echo Lounge in Dallas and at Tannahill's Tavern in Fort Worth. Was able to get a picture with Kevin Rankin from the band.. Fantastic opening with Strangelove Depeche Mode Tribute Band..great energy!!
