    Outstanding!

by Alan Masen on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

at Chrysler Hall, Norfolk VA I (we) totally enjoyed this production. Lots of out-loud laughter from the entire audience. Fantastic cast. Fantastic staging. The storyline moves smoothly - as in, does not drag. Note that this IS NOT a family-friendly play. Lots of F-bombs. Lots of grownup suggestive content. If there is any complaint... it is the sound system. Some characters could not be heard or understood due to a somewhat "tinny"and distant sound. The open captioning screen on the stage came in handy.

    Fun play/ mediocre sound system

by Debbie on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

We have always enjoyed shows at Chrysler. I have seen the play elsewhere before, and loved it. I expected the same here, but we were very disappointed in the sound system. This is the first time we were back row of the balcony so maybe that was the problem? It was often very difficult to understand what the actors were saying.

Wish We Could Have Heard it Better

by Missy on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

We had excellent seats, but missed a lot of the lines due to poor acoustics. I heard others complain about the same issue on the way out. Excellent cast and incredible set changes!

Fabulous play. Second time was better than fiest,

by Broadway Play Ateendees on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

Enjoyed it and picked up so much more seeing it the second time that made it even better than the first time.

    Of Course it’s Offensive

by Max on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

I loved reading some of the reviews that were shocked that they mocked not just the Church of Latter Day Saints, but also Christianity and religion in general during the show. They were fine with mocking a religion, as long as it was not their own. In this show nothing is off limits. If you have never seen an episode of South Park, you may want to do some research before attending this show. There were audible gasps from the audience at some of the lines. We went on a double date with some dear friends, got dressed up, had a wonderful dinner, then attended the Theeeeeaaater - Pinkys-up! The show was hilarious and we had a great time.

    The acoustics were horrible!

by KD on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The acoustics in Chrysler Hall were terrible. I had a very hard time understanding what the performers were singing/saying during the performance.

    2nd Half Stunner

by We Are Africa on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The first half was really good, but I almost peed at multiple moments during the second half of the show. It was absolutely amazing. It definitely had the South Park humor that Matt and Trey bring to their productions.

    Great musical

by Phil Hartman on 5/14/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The cast and crew were great, only complaints would be it was difficult to hear all the words. It was super funny and well done.

    good production

    by mrs1492 on 5/13/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

We had a very good time at this play. It was an excellent production, with staging , and performances all top notch. It is not for the faint of heart, as it is very explicit, but it was funny and heart warming at times.

    Book of Mormon Rocks

by Doug on 5/13/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The show was spectacular. The cast was superb. The sound quality in Chrysler Hall made it difficult to hear the dialog and singing

    Great Show

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Had no idea of what it was about but it was very entertaining and funny.

    Difficult to hear performers.

by Fencer on 5/13/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

Great show when we could hear the performers. The music often drowned out the singers. All of the words spoken and song were important to the show. When you Can't hear some of the dialogue or the singers, you miss a lot of the creative talent from the writers.

    Not what I expected

by Sharyn on 5/13/24Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

Very irreverent and sometimes shocking but it did have funny parts. Some people actually left because of the offensive language

    Not at all satisfying

by VJ on 5/12/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

We’ve seen the show before in another state years ago, so we were really looking forward to seeing it again. But this time we were sorely disappointed. It was hard to understand the spoken parts and the lyrics of the songs, so the whole thing was a sleeper. The mics kept going off and on. I actually fell asleep during the show….not impressed at all.

    Hilarious

by Jchickos on 5/11/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

Best show ever! Even if you are not a fan of musical theater this show will have you laughing out loud. As long as you're not easily offended. It's brought to you by the same people that did South Park. Cast and crew doing incredible job.

    Excellent show

by Not to be missed on 5/11/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

The acting, singing, dancing, lighting and set design were amazing. The only issue was with sound and the mic not coming on in time more than a few times during the performance

    Cheated

by Disappointed on 5/11/24Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium - Spartanburg

The cast was playing as fast as they could, (shaved about 15 mins off running time) as opposed to delivering a rich experience to the audience. They are trying so hard to ham it all up that the one comedic outlet (Cunningham) has to go to hysteria to achieve his character goal. I waited years to see this production and I am severely disappointed that my 4 hrs in the car to get there and back in awful weather was not worth it. The worst is that I will not do this again for any other production.

    Absolutely Fantastic

by Krebsmd on 5/8/24West Herr Auditorium Theatre at West Herr Performing Arts Center - Rochester

I went into this show with no expectations. I was not familiar with it at all. Right from the 1st scene and 1st number, it had my attention and was hilarious! At times I would say it was "jaw dropping"in a "I can't believe they just said that"but in the same moment perfectly fitting into the show and amazing comic relief. Several of the case members were on their debut tour with the show but I would have never believed that was the case. They were all fantastic! I loved it so much I bought the original soundtrack.
