THE AMITY AFFLICTION IN CONCERT:
The Amity Affliction is a hardcore punk collective that’s taking their native Australia by storm with fast-paced music and intense live shows. Whether they’re tearing through the growl-filled track “Pittsburgh” or getting fans to mosh and sing along, the band delivers one energy-fueled performance after another for crowd-surfing fans.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
The Amity Affliction was formed by high school friends Ahren Stringer and Troy Brady in 2003. After playing concerts on campus, they started to take their music more seriously and added two more members – classmates Garth Buchanan and Lachlan Faulkner – to the lineup. The group embarked on a tour to support their 2005 debut EP and began to introduce their music to legions of fans around Australia. They spent the next few years honing their craft and in 2008 they released their full-length debut Severed Ties, which peaked at No. 6 on the Australian Artists Albums chart and launched major tours with the Getaway Plan and Elora Danan. Since then the Amity Affliction has released three more popular albums – including the chart-topping albums Chasing Ghosts (2012) and Let the Ocean Take Me (2014) – played major festivals like Warped Tour, and headlined several dates of their own, at venues like The Fillmore (Philadelphia). On tour the Amity Affliction continues to deliver gripping, revved-up live performances that no fan of punk will want to miss.

Amity always puts on a awesome show! I had so much fun & the set list was amazing. Great night with friends who never heard of them & ended up being fans! Cheers to my favorite band for putting on a fantastic show!
Again I was so not disappointed with The Amity Afflictions set. It was amazing!!! The Meet and Greet went smoothly. They were very nice to everyone they came in contact with. They're a very humble and polite metal band which i think makes them so much more personable. The only thing that was thrown off was when it was time to take pictures with the band they didn't hug their fan like they did last year in Tempe. So I don't know if something happened or what but it did make a few of us feel awkward cause we didnt know what to do. All in all it was amazing and cannot wait for October to see them again!
I drove down from Phoenix and ended up parking on the side streets and that seemed to be okay. The line to get in was long but it went down super-fast and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is my favorite band so I don't need a lot of bells and whistles either, it would of been nice if they could offer reentry as it does get very warm with all the people there. I couldn't find the outdoor area and I'm not sure if there is an outside area available to the GA. I had an amazing time though, if you got too warm you could find fans and/or hide out in the bathroom. 10/10 will be back!
They take my breath away every time I see them. They’re on of the greatest band to release your darkest secrets!
Sounded perfect, mostly good crowd awesome set list. All around awesome show.
Have seen them for the last 6 years (that I could) I never miss them coming to NY they are my favorite band to see live love every show can’t wait for them to come back
I love them and couldn’t wait to see them live.. they did not disappoint! Hoping to see them again someday
Is the girl from the mosh pit ok??I don’t really have anything else to say, it was a really good concert
Best band in the scene period. Sound was amazing live. Amity!!!
The Amity Affliction was absolutely amazing to see live! Ahren is my favorite member of the band and his voice was so beautiful I almost cried when they came out on stage! Joel’s screams are absolutely immaculate! The whole show was awesome and I can’t wait until they tour the US again!!
I grew up in the ages of the interwebs where rawr was “ily,” in dinosaur, where pc4pc was still relavent, and where the height of emo rock all the merch had neon little monsters on them. Amity affliction was born in the chaos of this time. As elder warrior of this time and child of the y2k area, amity never disappoints. The lead vocalists are like sorcerers when it comes to crowd effect. They band itself is considered “old” and haven’t released as many records as some bands of that time, but the thing is they STILL TOUR, and having yielded all the way from New Zealand this makes them even more of a rarity. If your stuck in nostalgia or coming on board late to the amity experience, you won’t be disappointed ever.
The concert was amazing! All the bands were great ! But The Amity Affliction killed it & they were the best live band there! They sounded great & they were very energetic getting the crowd going nuts! It was amazing night
Really really good line up I would pay twice that to see them again! Especially Silverstein. 🤘
This band kills it every single time I see them! Any opportunity I get, I will continue to see them.
They are honestly amazing live. Never dissappoint and they always give a hell of a performance.
If you have a chance to see them, do it. This was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen
Had an amazing time. It was unfortunately very hot. I understand the more people the harder to keep the temp regulated. Overall. 10/10.
Such an awesome time, chill performance. Security were nice and the amenities were good.
Amity Affliction was great but it seemed that Silverstein played longer. Not my kinda band but still played way too long
