Styx have endured for over five decades while staying true to their progressive rock sound and theatrical live show. Since releasing their self-titled debut in 1972, Styx have sold over 54 million records worldwide between 17 studio albums, 16 compilations and nine live recordings. Notably, the band released four consecutive RIAA-certified multi-platinum albums between 1977’s The Grand Illusion, 1978’s Pieces of Eight, 1979’s Cornerstone and 1981’s Paradise Theatre, the last of which became their first to top the Billboard 200. Across their career, Styx earned eight Top 10 singles on the Hot 100, including the chart-topping “Babe” as well as “Come Sail Away” “Mr. Roboto” and their 1990 comeback single “Show Me the Way.” Despite several hiatuses and lineup changes, Styx have become one of rock’s most consistent touring acts, hosting nearly 100 live shows every year for over two decades and netting career-best earnings on massive co-headlining tours with REO Speedwagon, Foreigner and Def Leppard. In 2021, Styx released their seventeenth studio album, Crash of the Crown.

The show was better than I anticipated. High energy crowd, great set list - band sounded amazing!
Styx never disappoints us, they always sound outstanding after all these years and we’ve always followed them either with cds / downloads or in concert. We’ll be at their concert in Camden NJ on July 28th, 6 seats from the stage. See you guys soon and keep jamming !!!
As an avid concert-goer, I recently attended Styx at Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair. The show left much to be desired, Despite my anticipation, the experience was lackluster and failed to deliver the excitement and energy I had hoped for. One of the most striking aspects of the evening was the palpable lack of enthusiasm from the audience. The atmosphere felt subdued and uninspired, mainly because of the setlist. Styx ignored most of their hits and showcased lesser known material. The absence of easily recognizable hits left many attendees feeling disconnected and unenthusiastic. The only time the audience came alive was when the band played one of their classic hits. The lack of enthusiasm from the audience made it difficult to become fully invested in the performance, contributing to an overall sense of disappointment. In conclusion, Styx failed to live up to expectations, offering a lackluster and forgettable experience. The subdued atmosphere and uninspired setlist were major factors that contributed to the show's shortcomings. While every concert has its off nights, this particular performance fell short of delivering the excitement and energy that audiences crave from a classic band such as Styx.
Excellent Concert. High Energy. Great performers. Truly Enjoyed the show.
At the top of their game is the current lineup of Styx! Todd Sucherman on drums has been with the band over 30 years and the way he elevates the original drum parts is masterful! Tommy and JY may move a little slower, but their fingers and voices still sound excellent! Larry Gowan brings an energy and finesse vocally and on the keyboard that eclipses the last few times I saw them in the early/mid-90s. If you’re on the fence - don’t be! Go and enjoy the songs you’ve loved for years! My only slight negative is that they don’t play more from the newer albums as they are fantastic as well!!
Styx put on a great show. I highly recommend catching their show if you can.
This venue was too small for this band. But I wouldn’t miss this concert. They were fabulous, as always They can’t play as if they are in a big venue because it doesn’t sound right. They are too loud for this venue. But regardless. They were great and I’ll go see them again. I love this venue, I have been going there since I was a child It’s small and if you are tall, your knees may touch ur mouth No cup holders and little space so people spill drinks and it can get nasty but employees do a good job keeping up
They where fantastic I loved every minute of the concert
This was the first time I ever spent the money for a front row seat....outstanding. The concert experience was beyond expectation and to see these musicians up close and personal was a thrill. Styx.... keep rocking!!!
Recently attended a Styx performance at the Westbury Music fair in Li. I had no problem getting into the facility. Parking was great, The tickets were on my phone through the Ticketmaster App. There is no bad seat in the facility. Styx put on an excellent show. The sound system was great. The stage rotation was fine. I have been the this facility in the past and intend to attend more shows there in the future. Rock On Dudes!!!!
