American roots rock icon John Fogerty is as beloved for his solo work as he is for his time with legendary swamp rockers Creedence Clearwater Revival. Included by Rolling Stone on both their 100 Greatest Guitarist and 100 Greatest Singers lists, Fogerty continued to assert his role as an enduring figure in rock music with the 2013 release of Wrote a Song for Everyone, his ninth solo album. Featuring collaborative interpretations of his most beloved songs performed with acts like Foo Fighters, Miranda Lambert, and Jennifer Hudson, the album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and provided listeners a fresh new take on classics like āBad Moon Risingā and āBorn on the Bayou.ā Fogerty rose to success with Creedence Clearwater Revival in the late ā60s, achieving international fame in 1969 with hit single āProud Maryā from Bayou Country. After the release of the bandās final album in 1972, Fogerty would release a series of critically-acclaimed solo albums, including 1997ās Blue Moon Swamp and 2008ās Revival, the former of which won a Grammy for Best Rock Album. On tour in 2013, Fogerty has been treating ticket buyers to extended renditions of his greatest hits, earning rave reviews for his infectious energy.
Hasn't lost a beat. His lead guitar takes over the band.
Excellent and happy to hear his story that you never give up for what you believe in.It was so nice that he put on the show the next night for sake of weather.Thank you John Fogerty šš„°
Great show. John sounded great. Band was clearly having fun. Iād see them again tomorrow if I could
The show was very good. John Fogerty sounded great and you could tell how much he was enjoying performing, especially with his 2 sons and owning his music after 50 years. The only negative are the chairs. They are folding chairs with a cushioned seat but still not all that comfortable after sitting for a while and they are hooked together so you are right on top of the person next to you.
Better than expected. Not only was the music great but John talked to the crowd and his sons played in the band. Crowd was singing and dancing.
Great energy and liked the way he interacted with the crowd !! 5 STAR !!!!
He is still very good nothing to say else he is one of the best player guitarist and singer too
Excellent concert with nonstop music for 1 hour 45 minutes. John added tidbits of info of his life and music career.
Fogerty was great. Played with passion and energy. I am not a fan of open-air outdoor venue events. if outdoors, prefer an amphitheater. The initial date was thankfully canceled due to rain even though the event was sold as rain or shine. Rescheduled a day later. Will see Fogerty again, if he is nearby, love his music. Thanks for appearing John.
John was spot on! voice still strong and still can play! Great show! Played every song!
What a great concert and celebration of his music. Very memorable.
Seeing John at the HOB in Hollywood when he "First"was "Allowed"to Sing His "OWN"Music was a Special Concert and Now Seeing John Sing His "OWN"Songs Which He Now OWNS!!!! You Could Feel "More"from John Than any of His Other Shows!! John is Really "Proud"of The Music He Made!! Great Show!!! (Sound System at The Casino "Requires"Some "Help"Before The Next Concert)
He was totally awesome! I only wish I would have gotten closer seats! So glad to be able to celebrate his victory with him!! ā¤ļø
I loved the venue. The seating was really tight. The rows of chairs were not even. Some rows had a lot of room and others were crooked and cramped. I had to sit sideways so I could fit in my seat. That didn't make it very enjoyable. If I stood it was better but I touched the person's head in front of me because the seats were so close to each other. The entertainment was outstanding. I would have enjoyed it more if I had sufficient room to sit and stand. I was able to exit easily so I appreciated that. There was plenty of parking available.
The venue was nice, and chairs were comfortable. Oh, parking was plentiful and close to the event. Mr fogerty played mostly hit songs, and was a joy to be with.
This is my second time seeing John Fogerty and he is just amazing. My only complaint is about the poor organization of seats (too closed to each other, no room to move an inch) and the long wait to get in.
What a great night. John Fogarty sang, told stories, and showed pictures that thoroughly entertained us. Sing along were encouraged and most of us knew the words! The venue met any thirst quencher need. Beautiful night for an outdoor concert and a fun crowd to party with. Weāve gone to Johnās concerts several times over the years, in several venues. We are never disappointed. See you next time!
Saw him at Talking Stick Resort. Great show with great energy. Loved all the old songs.
The music was good, The seating was extremely difficult to get in and out of the seating row. So close together! As a older person getting in and out of the row was very difficult, stepping on feet , having to do a balancing act. The rows should have had more room to get in and out. The venue was good. The seating sucked !
According to the ticket it was to start at 8:00 PM when it actually started approximately 7:15 PM. By the time we were seated it was more than half over and only heard a couple of Credence songs during the time that was left.
