Timeless in a way that few other acts today are, The Spinners are one of the most iconic and enduring groups in R&B history. With a towering legacy spanning over six decades, The Spinners have never lost their universal appeal.
The group created and came to defne the smooth sound of Philadelphia Soul, with smash singles like, "I'll Be Around," "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love," "Then Came You," "The Rubberband Man,'' "Working My Way Back To You", and many more- earning Six Grammy nominations, 18 Platinum and Gold Albums, a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and selling millions of records worldwide in the process.
Four decades later The Spinners have not skipped a single beat and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. A fan favorite drawing large crowds to sold out performances both at home and abroad, The Spinners have left an indelible impact, not only on music history- but on the hearts of millions of fans throughout the world.
Great audience the energy was amazing .Must see performance.
So many great songs, brought back the memories! Laughed, cried, danced. Entertaining, fantastic music, great engagement with the audience. The energy of the Music Hall was outstanding! Will watch for this duo every year.
My experience was great. Did not disappoint. It had been a while since I had been to a concert and I can truly say, that show will definitely have me going to concerts more often.
They bought back so many memories. I love them. I wish it could’ve last a little bit longer, but I have fun
The Stylistics and the Spinners both gave great shows. There was much love shared with the audience from both acts. The Spinners even came out into the lobby after the show to sign autographs and talk with the crowd. All in all a great show. I'm so happy I was there to enjoy it!
The Stylistics were fantastic; great voices, did most of their song catalog; engaged the audience really well. I would see them again. However, I'm a big Spinners fan, and although these performers were clearly talented and hard working, they could have done more of the Spinners' catalog with more respect for the sound they were famous for. I was especially disappointed at the lack of the famous guitar intro on, "It's a Shame."That said, the crowd was fantastic; with both groups all the way.
I enjoyed everything about the show, I’m from the Motown Era and they are just one of my favorite groups🥰🥰 The Stylistics group was an added joy. They also performed to perfection.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰🥰
The concert was excellent. Both The Spinners and The Stylistics put on a great show. I loved how they interacted with the audience. They weren't scared to come into the audience and give love back to their fans. The music and singing from both groups sound the same as they did back in the day. I would definitely go to see both groups again.
Sooo much fun I really enjoyed it had an amazing time!
Everyone was awesome performing on stage! It was more than I expected! This is my first time coming to their show! I will be attending again when they come back to Detroit. Well worth the price!
