  • King of Hearts❤️❤️❤️&❤️❤️’s El D

by Can’t Get Enough on 10/27/25Rating: 5 out of 5

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD You are the last of the Old School Heart- Throbs. Your music is everlasting- Charming that never fades. Why do I have to wait 6 months to see you do what you do BEST 🎤 You said you prefer the bigger venues . I get that BUT 10,000 or 300 All you have to do is show up and it’s over. You have enough music to last until the morning light. April 2026 is your next show. THATS’ NOT GONNA WORK. I Do not Care About Price!!!!!! An Evening With El D is all I wanna Hear

  • El is amazing all the time

by Lover on 10/12/25Rating: 5 out of 5

I’m writing this from a bias standpoint as I attend a lot of EL shows. He captivates the audience and makes every audience member feels loved and appreciated for attending his show. El a good friend of mine and there is nothing negative I could ever think to say about this man. His voice is a timeless jewel that I will always cherish. Without saying too much he is literally the best in every way lol ❤️😆

  • The Legendary El DeBarge

by Sonya on 10/1/25Rating: 5 out of 5

There is nothing quite like hearing the falsetto voice of El DeBarge live. After attending a few of his recent concerts, El truly demonstrated what true showmanship really is all about. His soulful ballads had men and women singing along to his hit DeBarge songs like "All this Love,""Love Me in a Special Way"and a timeless tribute to his late brothers Bobby and Tommy DeBarge from Switch, "I Call Your Name."Those are just a few of the El DeBarge highlights during his live performances, which also showcases his impeccable piano-playing. El DeBarge is a consummate performer, exuding the same swagger appeal he had when he was a heartthrob in the early years of his singing career. Absolutely nothing has changed.

  • He could have done at least 2 more selections

by Lynn on 11/5/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 4 out of 5

Debarge could have sung a few more songs for the time we had to wait for his appearance.

  • Disappointed A Bit

by MzN on 11/5/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 3 out of 5

We were unable to enjoy the performance due to several factors. The first incident involved an overly intoxicated group of people allowed to attend the event on the main floor, continue to purchase alcohol beyond their limit. They blocked the views of several guests, including myself and a few others nearby. The second incident involves the constant entry of late guests, causing impaired view of the performances. They also allowed guests to enter the show, disrupting others well into the show making things difficult to enjoy. There has to be a cut off at some point so that we could all enjoy the show. The third incident involves the constant sound system issues and delays in the performances. There were so many pauses and interruptions throughout the show, it just became an unpleasant night out. I truly hope that this isn't the lasting impression the Music Hall leaves on the legacy of El Debarge and Dave Hollister. The facilities inability to provide a great customer experience can indeed effect future need for Artists to use their facilities to entertain fans.

Where do I begin first of all the sound system is terrible thank God that Dave Hollister Stopped his show and got the sound system right as for El debarge I'll have no idea what he was doing we could not hear him in the balcony area and I walked out after the second song a waste of my money and time

  • Just Wow-El DeBarge is an Amazing Artist

by Queen Lori on 11/5/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

El makes my heart smile with his passionate flawless vocals and ability to make this fan feel like he’s singing just for me. Maestro DeBarge is a master pianist just as talented on the keyboard as he is using his voice as an instrument. One of the many highlights of the evening was his musical interlude with the saxophonist. By the end of the show he had us dancing in the aisle and surprisingly El danced right along with us. That’s LOVE! The opening performer Niko Noire was soulful and very talented. On the downside I’m not a fan of Dave Hollister's ‘ art’. Plus he was somehow allowed to blow cigar smoke on the audience in this non smoking venue. Finally, I love the Switch and DeBarge hits but wish El had performed more songs from his rich catalog of music. I love Joyful, Heart, Mind and Soul, Somebody Loves You…

  • The venue was terrible. El did great.

by Fan on 11/5/24Music Hall Center - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The Music Hall is in bad condition. The couple who were seated next to us fail on the floor due to a broken chair. The bathroom was flooded. People were walking back and forth across the stage between performance. I would go see him again without the other performers and at another venue.
