The North American tour is an equally grand theatrical achievement, having welcomed over 20 million theatergoers in more than 80 cities.The six-time Tony Award-winning production features direction by Julie Taymor, music and lyrics by Elton John and Tim Rice, and choreography by Garth Fagan. For over two decades, the touring production’s visual tapestry has enchanted audiences across North America and continues to be a “must-see” live event, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

This is my second time seeing The Lion King. It is spectacular! The costumes are beautiful! The choreography is superb! Worth every penny and a favorite. It was wonderful to see so many kids there too!
I was honestly a bit disappointed in this version of The Lion King. This was my third time seeing the show and I felt the singing and sound quality was extremely below average for a musical of this caliber. The songs are powerhouse songs and the singing fell short most of the time. My partner and I also found the sound quality was terrible. We had to strain ourselves to hear the music properly and we were not that far back. There was a technical difficulty at one point in the show where the performance needed to be stopped, but I don't think it was related to the sound. I talked this show up to my partner and we both left feeling a bit underwhelmed.
This experience was so user friendly. Beginning with online reservations, including the luxury of securing parking was so welcoming. The wait in line was not long and all attendants were kind and accommodating. The Lion King was so mesmerizing, I'll will see it a third time.
My husband and I enjoyed every minute of it. The customs were awesome. The performers were amazing. Even though the ticket prices are on the expensive side for most of us, it's worth every penny. Even if you get the cheap tickets you should enjoyed the show from every seat in the house.
Amazing show! It was my first time watching this beautiful and amazing musical! It was always my dream! The cast is amazing! The acting, the costumes, the live music! Peter Hargrave who plays Scar is just phenomenal! Khalifa White who plays Nala has an amazing voice! Darian Sanders who plays adult Simba is just so incredibly talented! Khalifa and Daren have amazing chemistry!! Every actor and ensamble member and the dancers in this production are amazing! The young nala and simba are amazing actor/singers! A million out of 100 stars for me!
I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed the show. There were great surprises that just added a more beautiful touch to it. The comic relief came in at the perfect moment. I especially loved how the audience was included in the show.
This was my 2nd time seeing the Lion King and was lucky enough to share it with my 11 year old nephew. It was as good as the 1st time and the cast was absolutely fabulous
Enough of the animals and birds made it entertaining for kids. Add bathrooms for females where the bar is. It’s just silly not have more female bathrooms since typically the moms bring their children in and it takes so much more time.

This show was done really well. My 12 year old really enjoyed seeing all the characters & the Lion King on stage. I loved Rafiki and enjoyed the music. Would definitely see it again.

Everything about this show is Amazing! The opening scene was breathtaking and brought happy tears to my eyes. This show keeps your attention from the very start until the very end. Nala’s solo was absolutely beautiful! Loved the bits of comedy that were thrown in. This is a must see show!

The entire cast of this company was outstanding, with the costumes and set design proving to be phenomenal. The Pantages has always served as one of the best venues to see a show and the combination with The Lion King will prove to be a wonderful evening/matinee. Thank you so much!
